Ivans is a fine writer, when she sticks to subjects she knows and can discuss without prejudice, namely the pecadillos of Texas state legislators. Ivans is not a columnist nor a journalist, she is a propagandist. The only thing she leaves in question is how many words deep in her dross does she say, "...and, the Republcans did it."

She is so worthless in terms of providing insightful analysis or a thought provoking perspective that I have to believe there is some other reason that the Startlegram keeps her on.
