Monica Lewinsky Hosts Fox Channel Show

Summary: Fox has given Monica Lewinsky her own TV show called "Mr. Personality," which aired for the first time on April 21st.

Monica Lewinsky, the young White House intern whose main claim to fame is that she engaged in unnatural sex acts with former President Bill Clinton, has been awarded her own TV show on Fox. The show, "Mr. Personality," features men in colored masks who compete for the attention of a beautiful young woman.

Howard Rosenberg, the entertainment columnist for the Los Angeles Times recently wrote an editorial on Lewinsky. In "Memo to spotlight seekers: Be a jerk," Rosenberg notes: "Being a famous jerk still pays. Take Monica Lewinsky, who owes her celebrity, and everything flowing from it, entirely to getting chummy in the Oval Office with the skirt-chasing Bill Clinton in a grimy episode that disgraced both of them, contributed to his impeachment and wounded the U.S."

He continued, "However enormous your flaws, you'll thrive financially if your infamy earns a profit for others … whether your best-known modus operandi is sex, deception, or rage."

I would hazard a guess that Ms. Lewinsky's past "acts" pale in comparison to the "acts" of most actors/actresses.

Lewinsky being a host of such a show is annoying not because she may have, uh, done some things with Bill Clinton. It's annoying because she basically admitted to perjuring herself and trying to get Linda Tripp to perjure herself. It's the tolerance of perjury by Lewinsky that has done far more damage to our nation than any acts she may have performed.

And if the Traditional Values Group thinks that Lewinsky's acts were "unnatural", they need to get out more. I hate to be defending Lewinsky, but it really is bothersome that that group focuses on the sex acts rather than the real felonies she committed--all they're doing is reinforcing the Dem view that "it's all about sex". It wasn't, it was about perjury, suborning of perjury, and attempts to buy off and/or intimidate witnesses.

I think her hosting a show (which like all the rest of this garbage I will NEVER watch) is annnoying because she has no visible talents and should be an insult to the rest of the non talent types....I mean how in the hell does a talentless slug get to appear on TV in Prime Time? No fair if you mention Bruce Willis etc...
It is kind of like the Siefeld 'running' joke when his dentist switched religions so he could tell Jewish Jokes...the Dentii asked Jerry if he was offended by Jewish jokes and Jerry commented "No, I am offended because YOU can't tell jokes" ..or something along that line...

Nothing could make clinton feel shame; he is shameless--or, if you prefer, a psychopath.

But this show does serve the useful purpose of keeping clinton's dirty linen out there before the public. I doubt if many people will watch it, but lots of people will hear about it.
