Good news for 2004, but look out in 2008 she'll be in the game
And just how do you figure she will all of a sudden become a viable candidate in '08?

Her face won't hold up til 08, & it's too late for her to start plastic surgery now. She should have been getting tiny little tucks done all along.

Makes me ashamed that Hillary is in NY, but makes me glad to be FROM NY. How can the idiot voters understand that she is not good for the country, but still want her as their Senator? Did they include pets and dead people in the polls or is it really that inane?

Average White Band?
To: RedBloodedAmerican
Yeah, that's what I had in mind.
To: trebb
Are you not proud that you state will give the President 31 electoral votes in 2004?
Keep in mind that if New York goes for Bush, then so will Connecticut and New Jersey. I still have hope for Massachusetts and Rhode Island, being that Bush lost those states by the same margin and is now leading in one of them by 12 points.
To: RedBloodedAmerican
Non-jewish whites are only about 64% of NY voters. I don't think a conservative will ever win the state again, but GWB has a much better shot at Connecticut, Maine, Pennsylvania. The landslide scenario is a likelihood at this point...
Schumer is nauseating! That approval rating is disheartening and unless Rudy gets into the race, we're going to have to put up with upChuck until he dies/retires.
To: Tall_Texan
If they throw her out of office in 2006, you can knock me over with a feather.
We're stuck with the *****.

Oh, if he signs the extension to the AWB, why, that means he'll plummet to 30% approval nationwide!
You see, there is NOTHING more important to the electorate than the discontinuation of the AWB!

How in the world can a story starting with Bush Edges Clinton, be breaking news? This is a poll, not even news. Let alone breaking news.
To: areafiftyone
Sen. Clinton has a 52 -- 36 percent approval rating and New York voters say 59 -- 37 percent that she should not run for President next year. Nice numbers but it still won't stop her
I expect her to start even more trouble to try and make Bush look bad

Is Bush too compassionate to pull out some of the dirt he is SURE to own on them? As much as I wish he would .. he won't do that
He'll just let the truth speak for it's self .. and Hellary wouldn't know the truth if it smacked her upside the head

There's nothing worse in the minds of .325 percent of voters then for Bush to extend this insignificant law. He could give them 99% of the pie, but that last 1% will be his downfall.
Silly, really.
To: ItsTheMediaStupid
Well the Admin Moderators can take it out if they don't want it in breaking news. I have no problem with that. But apparently its okay with them (so far!)

Some may call it crazy, but I firmly believe that George W. Bush is capable of winning New York in 2004. The same goes for California. New York has repeatedly shown itself capable of voting Republican for the governorship and other prominent races.
To: areafiftyone
New York's senior Senator, Charles Schumer, has a 59 -- 22 percent approval rating, including 54 -- 31 percent among Republicans. Bush's numbers look good but this is soooo depressing about Schumer! How in the world can Republicans approve of Schumer and his obstructionsim regarding judicial nominees. New York is a very sorry state.
