PYONGYANG, North Korea -- North Korea is sticking by its demand that Washington end its "hostile policy" towards Pyongyang, saying that in the present situation war may break out at "any moment" on the Korean Pensinsula.

The stark warning came as U.S. and North Korean officials began a second day of talks in Beijing aimed at easing months of tensions over the North's alleged nuclear weapons program.

On a side note, what the hell is wrong with short men? Napoleon, Stalin, Kim - all under five-foot-five, and all inflicting death and suffering on millions.

I believe that SOME short men have an inferiority complex [from childhood teasing?] and overreact to build up their self-esteem. I have known three fairly extreme individuals that had to "prove" themselves at every turn.

Oh, ok. The "geedee" threw me off, I thought you might actually be his brother Gary. I went to Cleveland State University with him.

Oh BTW, I don't think of Dennis Kucinch as an "sinister midget"; more like an evil gnome.

N. Korea has hoards of artillery pieces on rails they can wheel out from hardened bunkers and anhilliate Seoul in less than an hour of any attack beginning.

Hmmm. Rails. Rails would show up very nicely on a B-2's ground-mapping radar. A few midnite passes over the DMZ and we would have the GPS coordinates of each one of those bunkers.

A few B2/B117 precision strikes to take out Command and Control facilities, while flights of B1's, B-52s, F15's and F16's lob JDAMs at each of the pre-mapped bunkers would take care of it in an hour

Yeah, that's what I think, too. But it may be more internalized than that - I've never withnessed anyone being teased for being short. Fat, yes, but not short. So it may be a matter of self-perception, and the fact that women prefer taller men, that goes into the psychoses of men of diminutive stature.
