France and Iran sure are cozy.
The president (of Iran) hailed France for leading the world's anti-war front and hoped that "France, given its position in the world, will make more efforts to promote peace, global coexistence and justice in the international scene"

Don't mention Taco Bell. My daughter use to wear Taco Bell out. She is a band member. And during the season of marching band I would get off of work and go up to the school and just wait sometimes to 9 p.m. and if I had not cooked enough for a couple of days the first thing out of her mouth when she got in the car was Taco Bell.

I must've missed that Dec. 19th chicanery at the time.
The fact that he did it the very day after Gore lost tells me he KNEW Bin Laden was a problem he had let slide. He was counting on Gore to get in and keep the lid on. It's amazing the country survived that weasel for 8 years.

I watched the Dixie Chicks too and think they did allright but I am not sure I feel they were sincere. I think they are trying to resurrect their career.
This would never have gone so far if Natalie had said the next day " I was nervous with the anti American sentiment and said something really stupid. I didn't mean it and wish I could take it back"...
That would have been a real apology and everyone could have identified with her.Everyone at one time or another has said something stupid they wish they could put back in their mouth.
On the other hand they seem to not get it that no matter what your views you don't trash your leader, ESPECIALLY on foreign soil at a time of war

thier bill really dropped.
I don't know about today retrokitten. Although I have less people to feed, groceries have gone up and those reward cards are a joke at times because the prices are hiked up so high.

I used to work with a girl who was Mexican. She would come in with the best Mexican food! Homemade tamales, spanish rice, all kinds of wonderful things. Then every once in a while she'd go to Taco Bell for lunch. I could never figure it out. I asked her why she did that and she said, "Sometimes I just want yucky fast food." I couldn't really argue with that. I guess it's like craving White Castle (teeny tiny gross hamburgers from the east and midwest, nick-named 'sliders' for thier *ahem* effect on the eater).

She did say, It was disrespectful, especially on foreign soil, which is what I really wanted to hear...
but it was almost like too little too late.
I was a fan, and would like to be again. Thats where my problem is I think

Yeah, I'll have to update the profile....and maybe throw a photo up there. If you ever come to Chicago you have to take the Richard Crowe Ghost Tour. It's really cool. He takes you to a ton of haunted Chicago spots and is a great story teller. I've taken it 3 times myself. The web address is www.ghosttours.com
Let me take this chance to plug the FReeper photo album 'cause I haven't done it in a long time! There is a link on the very top of my profile page that goes right to the photo album and instructions on how to submit photos are at the top of the page.
Okay, now I am really going to bed. I can hardly keep my eyes open! Good night, everyone!

AMEN!
My husband and I love to cook, and we make most things from scratch. Nothing better than the look on someones face when you feed them.

I guess that's why I like to bake, because I can throw all the ingredients together and then shove it in the oven. I don't have alot of patience.

That link reminds me of the Underground Exploration and the Urban Legend links where they explore abandoned subway tunnels, college steam pipe tunnels, and mines, and old insane asylums.
