This sounds like a cover story to me.

Just heard this on FNN. Grabs our guts and hearts every single time. We mourn the loss of these brave troops. Prayers up!!

Yep, this is just one more example of the lies and misinformation from the Bush Administration since the start of this war.
The thousands of body-bags being returned every day, landing at Dover AFB in the dead of night, the mass graves of Iraqi civilians killed by indiscriminate American bombing, and the American oil tankers lined up at the terminal off the coast at Umm Qasr to steal Iraqi oil, continue to go unreported.

And you are smoking what kind of evil weed or snorting what kind of white powder. If YOU have facts to back up your silly claims, produce them. Otherwise, shutup. You offer no facts to back up this silliness you spout here. Facts. Deal the facts out. You have none, because there are none.

To: Fred Mertz
This sounds like a cover story to me.So if it were true, and I've seen many training accidents, what would they say to make you believe it?

Sounds like a coer story to me.Possibly they took some 40mm Mk19 automatic grenade launcher ammo (which is hotter) and tried to shoot them through the M203 tube which is slung under the barrel of the M16.

What difference does that make???
Until we know the circumstances, mindless and silly speculation as to cover-up is futile and serves no purpose.

I'm familiar with the M 203 but not very familiar with the MK 19. I'll have to do some research later on that.
