Did I hear my name just now? What are you pesky boys up to -- more procrastinating on your homework assignment! A case of Lastminuteitis?
If you don't make the time limit, no Cherry Tootsie Roll Pops for you!

(OOPS-- did I give them an excuse???)

The Media Research's report on the media and Iraq came out today. Peter didn't do too well. HeeHee! Thanks for the link Exit148. Peter Jennings gets an F. :-)
Angelwood, is it to late to add Peter Jennings to the list?
Grading the Anchors: All of the network anchors received high grades except for the highly tendentious Peter Jennings, who played up any defeatist angle he could find.
Five days before Baghdad fell, Pentagon reporter John McWethy warned, This could be, Peter, a long war. Jennings felt vindication: As many people had anticipated.

No excuses. No hanging chads, no dimpled chads, and Pat Buchanan is not on the ballot.

Jordan/CNN (aka "Collaborators Network News")
R.W. Apple - stuck in 60s quagmire still thinking of Vietnam
Senator Robert KKK Byrd
Minority Leader Pelosi - blame America SF-area Dem
Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders - traitor who should be banished to North Korea to see the type of Stalinist regime that she hoped would be victorous in Iraq
Scott Ritter - send him to a Burger King on another planet
Helen Thomas - send her to France to question Jacques ChIRAQ, that will punish them both
Michael Moore - Marxist making misleading movies
Katie Couric - "hopefully" she will be taken to Syria & left there
Wesley Clark - He's blinded by ambition. If only my mute button worked on him and not just the TV.

Thanks for posting that graphic! The whole report goes into detail, but those grades tell it all.
I get a daily e-mail report from the Media Research Center -- (the same one they post on their site) and Peter is listed every single day -- in a negative way. He is surely going to top their non-awards, next year! HeeHee!

Tomorrow, I plan to be on this thread at 11:55 EDT, and watch the countdown to noon. I also will be at the Press Freep on Sat. with folded arms and tapping foot, waiting to hear the poor excuse from the JVs if they don't make the deadline!
If they squeeze in, even at the last second ---- then they will get a pass and maybe even a pat on the back for a completed and well-done job.
But we'll see------------!

How did I miss this?
On the other hand, ABCs Ted Koppel spent his time pontificating as if he not the vast military force that surrounded him was the real star. Forget the easy victories of the last twenty years; this war is more like the ones we knew before, he announced at the end of Nightline on March 24. Telling you if and when things are going badly for U.S. troops, enabling you to bear witness to the high cost of war, is the hard part of our job, he promised viewers, Well do our very best to give you the truth in the hope and the belief that you can handle it.
Oh yeah, now I remember, now that I have FNC, I don't watch this crap passing as journalism any more.
