**It was widely reported yesterday that they have agreed on a divorce settlement and she is backing off on book plans. **
That is my understanding as well.
By even considering this book deal, she has hurt her children in order to take revenge on her ex husband. She has proven her lack of character...

Ms. Bush probably went through with the (public) luncheon with Ms. Kelley, so as to draw her husband into compromising on a more favorable divorce settlement (a la...."Look buster! I want more money and if you don't agree to give it to me, I will write a "tell-all" about the Bushes...) -- sounds like blackmail to me, but then if I'd been dumped by my hubby, I'd go after everything he had.

Stop. Stop! It's been years since I was in Mexico, and I still can't forget... Those beautiful eyes. They haunt me. I can't forget. I can't forget...
Somehow I can't get worked up about the Mexican immigration (except that I think it should be either legal or not!). Mexicans are spreading out diffusely over the U.S. They will be assimilated. They are not Muslims. Also they are such lovely people--at least the ones I've known. And in Mexico--everyone is so polite...

"All that remains is how many garbanzos will be spilled."
Garbanzos or lies? Even if this was a book about the Toons, I'd have to seriously consider the source.

Have to agree.

The estranged wife of President George Bush's brother, Neil, plans a tell-all book about life within the first family. Can't wait. I've often wondered which one the Bush boys is the guy in every family that does the "pull my finger" trick with the kids.

Stop. Stop!Sorry--your post reminded me of that song.
They are not Muslims.
I think we should thank GOD everyday for that.

Kitty Kelly writing a book on a woman scorned? This ought to be a doozie! She is bad enough with the scandals on her own!
Gee, suppose she will write on the Clinton/Rodham Bubba's too? Fat chance!

I don't know the details about their marriage, but I remember seeing them at W's inauguration in 2001 and they didn't interact and didn't seem together. I don't know why Neil couldn't have gone out and gotten the divorce before he apparently cheated. It's sad to see the family break up like this and Sharon would be best suited to take the high road like Bill LeBlond.

The Bushes seem to have a weakness for Mexicans (not that I blame them). (I still can't get those beautiful, dark Spanish eyes out of my mind. It's best that I not go back to Mexico.) Maybe so but it does demonstrate a lack of character to boink them while you are married to the mother of your children imo
Of course lack of character never stopped anyone from running for public office or getting elected to same

If this woman puts her vindictive story out in public it will only harm their children. Proving she was/is a b*tch.
If Neil Bush hadn't left the mother of his children for another woman, it would have harmed the children even less...

So his being a lousy father makes it alright for her to be a lousy mother?
