Well, I just sent the FamousIdiots guy an encouraging email and he replied right away. I think these guys need the encouraging words, so I urge Freepers to drop 'em a line telling them good work and way-to-go.

I would think death threats are a form of terrorism. I wonder if they fall under any of the new guidelines from the Justice Department.

BTW,..the REAL Hollywood Blacklist, is the fact that a conservative actor or actress cannot say they are conservative for fear of never working.

So those who are feeling a backlash from America for their anti-American rhetoric, I say they are hypocrits.

They basically boycott other actors and actresses for having diffferent political ideologies, and then get upset because America responds with our check books to their statments which do not reflect OUR feelings.

This has been the richest example of hypocrisy we've ever witnessed. Just amazing.

I hope the owners of these websites report the threats. They can get a detailed IP address and send them to their local authorities who can then decide if it is a matter to forward on to even higher Law Enforcement.

WONDERFUL! Looks like the message is getting where it belongs. When you get death threats, you know you are reaching the right people with the right message.

Yep! Must have struck a nerve! I wonder if the state of California will give Tim C. a CCW considering that he had an obvious and immediate need.

Frankly, I am starting to wonder if the 1950's "black list" wasn't such a bad idea.

I'm wondering if they shouldn't skip the locals and go to the FBI. Can locals in California still be trusted? Or is that just in "certain" jurisdictions like San Fran where the cops have had their hands tied by the left.

Howdy ! I had heard they were down too, but hadn't seen the numbers. Glad to see their audience taking notice of their idiocy.

Instead of 'Open mouth, insert foot' it's more like 'Open mouth, extract $$' . . .

They offended their Country & Western audience. It makes sense. Now, take Michael Moore, his audience is as whacky as him. So he will not be hurt by his hateful spew at the Awards ceremony and will likely gain. Sheesh !

I was glad to see these websites out there telling it like it is !

Tim C. of Famousidiot.com said the threats are relentless. "I receive on average one death threat a day ... we had no clue that these folks feel that strongly," he explained.

The left is like a huge nation of orphans, they have no country, the one in which they live having become the enemy for them long ago. I was one of them, I know.

This physically disparate conglomeration is held together psychicly by the tremendous sense of belonging to a great and noble cause, that of opposing capitalism and its most powerful purveyor, the US. This sense of belonging is made more necessary by the act of disavowing one's own country, creating the orphan mentality. There is also a feeling of superiority which is provided with membership. The ties here are extremely emotional, and we should never be surprised that they would not take defeat lightly.

What is really bothering them in a visceral way is the jubilation displayed by the Iraqis, and the knowledge that the left was not on the right side of this outcome. It really rocks their world, but they will stay true to their anti-capitalist charter.

Real smart posting death threats on a web site. I guess they figure the logs can't be checked.

"When you get death threats, you know you are reaching the right people with the right message. "

Come again, your logic seems a tad back a**ward. I would think if your message is getting to the "right" people, you would be getting accolades - not death threats. I sure don't want to receive death threats, do you. What happens if your message should happen to reach the wrong people?

Free speech is a wonderful thing, not matter who's doing the talking.

A spokesperson for the Creative Coalition, a liberal celebrity-based activist group whose founders include actors Ron Silver, Christopher Reeve and Susan Sarandon, did not respond to an interview request for this article.

I'm surprised at this; I saw Ron Silver on FNC yesterday being interviewed by Tony Snow; he sounded pretty conservative to me.

Yep, the idiots. I hope they are caught. I wonder what the possible penalties for such threats?

If it falls under the the Federal Communications Commission purview, I think it might. Of course, I'm not a lawyer and I don't play one on TV.

Yes, we have wonderful Law Enforcement in California. The media only tells the bad, but I can assure you that every single day our men and women in uniform are out there serving and protecting. When I see how there was a "rogue" cop somewhere,.. I immediately think of all those policmen and women who are putting themselves in harms way daily to protect us all.

Some end up giving their all.

The news portrays California as having horrible police, but I can assure you thats not true.

It may be that this should be reported to the FBI's anti-terrorism unit first, or at least call them first and ask what should be done. They could tell the web owners if they would handle it..or it should be reported locally.

Ron Silver is definitely a supporter of the war against Saddam. In other areas he was previously known as a liberal. His support of the war has been a pleasant surprise to those here.

Hollywierdos don't have a problem with disrupting the lives of anyone who supports Iraqi liberation, etc.,

but heaven forbid if anyone calls them to account by disrupting their cash flow???

Hmmmmm... :)
