Yes, we have wonderful Law Enforcement in California. The media only tells the bad, but I can assure you that every single day our men and women in uniform are out there serving and protecting. When I see how there was a "rogue" cop somewhere,.. I immediately think of all those policmen and women who are putting themselves in harms way daily to protect us all.

Some end up giving their all.

The news portrays California as having horrible police, but I can assure you thats not true.

It may be that this should be reported to the FBI's anti-terrorism unit first, or at least call them first and ask what should be done. They could tell the web owners if they would handle it..or it should be reported locally.

I was thinking more on the lines of what passes as "free speech" in some areas. The cops in San Fran really had their hands tied when the protestors seemed to take over the city. On the other hand, Oakland took no BS from those intending to block the entrance to the docks. So, I suspect that it varies from one jurisdiction to the next. I wouldn't put it past the department in San Fran to suggest that death threats are protected speech (unless made against a minority or "protected" class). That's where I was going with this and that is why I suggested going federal.

I certainly don't fault most of the 'man-on-the-beat' type cops, especially in California where political pressures make the job even more difficult than it is already. I know that there's a rogue one that passes through occasionally, but I think more of the rogue-ness is up on top, closer to the chief level.

One thing is for certain - the web site owners have struck a nerve and should keep good records and watch their back. They ticked off the commies who really seem bent on starting a civil uprising of late. I say bring it on, but that's me.
