Today the Louisville Support our Troops Coalition held a "Thank the Troops Rally" on the steps of the Jefferson County Court House. The rally was attended by more than 100 people, many of whom have loved ones deployed overseas.
The rally included speeches by local ministers and elected officials. Many held flags and signs saying "Thank You" to our men and women serving overseas in Iraq.
The group posed for a group photograph on the steps of the Jefferson County Courthouse. Louisville Support our Troops Coalition is asking that local media outlets post this photograph on their websites so that families of local service men and women can email the link to their loved ones overseas.
