This kills me.

Hey, Scott Peterson you just got arrested for murder. What are you going to do now?

I'm going to get a haircut!

Hee hee. I imagine jail personnel have seen those areas by now. (Wouldn't want any illicit Viagras getting into the jail.)

Thanks, RR. Several kind posters have given me the link to the video, but this computer is rather slow! However, Cheney Chick just put the article in print, above.

In the late 80's ASU built a huge golf course named Karsten after Karsten Soldheim (maker of Ping clubs). He donated a $1 M to the school for the course. We do have a big golf program. Phil Mickelson graduated from ASU.

Peterson must be a fairly good golfer to get a scholarship there...Spawn of Satan as a human being, though. :) And why would he leave if he had a scholarship?? Hmm?

I'll see what I can find.

LOL, in your post you were talking about a psychopathic kind of guy. Then you mentioned a woman who'd had several husbands who'd died. I just felt a whiff of Clinton waft over, for a minute!

ROFL!!!!!!!

That must be why he wanted his (already short) hair cut off! That orange-peroxided color is gonna clash terribly with the bright orange of the jumpsuit, oh no!!

OR maybe he wants the haircut b/c he doesn't want his post-Amber girlfriends to recognize him in the jail shots?

We watched Dana Carvey in the movie, "The Master of Disguise" with the kids. Carvey does a hysterical impersonation of Robert Shaw in, "Jaws" with a take off on that line. My kids keep doing Carvey's impersonation of Shaw so I naturally thought of it.

I saw texasbluebell did, too, a couple hundred posts ago!

And all this reminds me of the woman who killed several husbands over many years.
The one down on Cedar Creek Lake .. Betty something... buried 'em under "wishing wells" in the back yard ?

Gotta go but will see if I can find any information on the missing girls from ASU.

Happy Easter, everybody. Prayers going up for the Rochas.

Do you remember Robert Shaw's (Quint's) line in, "Jaws", that the shark's eyes are, "lifeless, like dolls eyes". I keep thinking about that line every time someone mentions Peterson's dead eyes.

Hahaha! Look at my post 1948!

Sure--jump in. You're absolutely correct that he'd taken out a double indemnity policy. And that in and of itself had raised a lot of eyebrows because all the insurance advisors and financial counselors came out of the woodworks after her disappearance to report that that was crazy. It was an archaic policy, and most counselors would recommend their clients just increase their benefits as opposed to adding the double indemnity clause (cheaper and more effective, the experts said).

So, you're right that there was something terribly amiss in this double indemnity policy (which, by the way, didn't need to be a boating accident for the ins. company to pay up).

Pushing her overboard and claiming it was accidental death might have been a good plan, but when did he intend to do it? To get rid of her AND the baby, he would have had to have done it while she was pregnant, right? Well, she was 8mo. pregnant and he still hadn't taken her fishing or whatever excuse he'd been planning on using (following your train of thought, that is). I mean, what 8mo pregnant woman decides to go fishing/sailing on a little rowboat like that? That's not believable. And it wouldn't be believable if she'd never gone fishing with him before--it would have been out of character and implausible to those who knew her.

No....i still think he only bought that dingy boat to dump her already-dead body...but that's just my gut feeling. I sure hope the truth comes out...I appreciate your ideas, Sandy

No, you were correct the first time. That was James Hattori in the MSNBC clip, if this is the one you are referring to.

Harrumph. If his "eyes welled up", then that's the best acting he's done since his wife went missing! Where were all those crocodile tears when nobody knew where she was? Dry-eyed then. But only when confronted with his OWN vulnerability do the eyes well up. Yes, I'd say he's a self-absorbed sociopath, feeling sorry for himself.

OK - so, who is taking care of Laci's dog?

That's what I'd like to know. I hope old McKenzie has gone to Laci's parents or sister or brother. And the cat too.
