How many registered Democrats are there in the population around Ithaca? I doubt its anywhere close to the 94% recorded on the faculty campus.

Ithaca College is located in Tompkins County. Although there is a Democrat registration plurality, it is not overwhelming. 2/3 county-wide elected officials are Republicans, and Governor Pataki carried Tompkins County in each of his races.
