The thing with Grijalva is where to start!
He grew up in South Tucson and went to Sunnyside HS. He was allegedly involved with the hoods in the local area. He managed to get elected to the Pima County Board of Supervisors in the mid-70's. He represented the south end of the county. There has been a lot of stories about corruption, political favors, paybacks, etc. surrounding Grijalva ever since I can remember. My youngest brother and I discussed this subject the last time I was in Tucson. My family is from AZ and we have lived most of our lives in Tucson. My brother is a contractor. According to him, Grivalva made lots of money under the table from contractors doing business with Pima County. I have heard this more than once from numerous sources as well. While in county government, he dug up lots of dirt on people.
Currently, he is real big on "immigration reform". He is a lot more concerned about the welfare of illegals (only from Mexico) than he is about his constituents from southern Arizona. Watch for him to be AZ's answer to Jesse Jackson Jr.

And he's apparently up for re-election in 2004:

He is legendary in Pima County. Anyone who has lived there for any length of time knows about him. The big issue with Grijalva is that you had better be "squeaky clean" if you are going to challenge him. He has done a great job on covering his tracks while digging up dirt on others. Simply put, he would be a great government official in Mexico, or any other 3rd world Banana Republic.
About the above, he needs to be watched, sounds like to me.... And he's apparently up for re-election in 2004: Absolutely! Watch him like a hawk!

Guess we better start praying hard, now, as there is simply no one who hasn't had the misfortune of making mistakes (and I don't mean awful/evil mistakes). The liberals and liberal press go after the slightest wrongdoing to trash good people, unfortunately.

The biggest problem with Tucson is there is so many leftist RATS. This district has always voted for them ever since I can remember. Morris Udall was the Representative from Tucson when I was a kid. He talked a good story for the folks while he was at home, then screwed them in Washington. Unfortunately, this traditionally has been a safe, far left RAT seat.

I'd say you accomplished your mission. Be careful - you might wind up in the Freeper Hall of Fame like Alamo Girl and her "Downside Legacy." LOL. When I first found out about FR, Alamo Girl's "Downside Legacy" was just getting started. That was as eye-opening for me as all your research on the socialists in our midst.
