He is a lot more concerned about the welfare of illegals (only from Mexico) than he is about his constituents from southern Arizona. Watch for him to be AZ's answer to Jesse Jackson Jr.

He is legendary in Pima County. Anyone who has lived there for any length of time knows about him. The big issue with Grijalva is that you had better be "squeaky clean" if you are going to challenge him. He has done a great job on covering his tracks while digging up dirt on others. Simply put, he would be a great government official in Mexico, or any other 3rd world Banana Republic.

About the above, he needs to be watched, sounds like to me.... And he's apparently up for re-election in 2004: Absolutely! Watch him like a hawk!
