US President George W. Bush invoked a national security waiver on Wednesday to prevent sanctions from being levied on the PLO for a period of six months.

Under the Foreign Relations Act of 2003, PLO non-compliance with signed peace accords and continued use of terror and violence would force the president to impose at least one of a menu of sanctions unless he invokes a waiver contained in the law.

President Bush's decision to waive sanctions on the PLO comes as his administration plans to try to jumpstart the dormant Middle East peace process.

Like that of France, the Mossad looks out for its own nation's interests at the expense of ours. In addition to Pollard, several of the commentators on Fox (Colonel Hunt, for one) have been talking last few days about fact that half of the reports coming out of Syria cant be trusted because they are planted their by the Mossad for their own purposes.

Yes, the Mossad looks out for Israel's interests (as it should), but much more often than not Israel's interests coincide or overlap with ours. For example, both countries share a common interest in hunting down and destroying the various Islamofascist terrorist organizations that infest that part of the world.

As for Syria, no one disputes that Syria supports Hezbollah, a terrorist group which among many other things is responsible for the deaths of 283 US marines in Beirut in 1983. Someone needs to tell me why now is not the time to bring these people to justice, even if doing so requires military action (or the threat of same) against Syria. I haven't even mentioned US intelligence reports that Syria is helping the Saddamites escape US capture.

It is looking like it. The non-closure of the PLO office is tactics, the road map is strategy. Asking the PLO, PLF, PA, (or what ever you want to call them today) to stop terrorism, is like asking a pig to fly. The whole foundation of their organisation is to destroy Israel. It would be like asking the Boy Scouts to have homosexual Scout Masters and try to fit that in with the scout oath. Bush is making a bet with a loaded deck.

The main talking point that the Islamic's are using to whip up their slaves against the US is the "Palestinian Issue". Bit by bit, the slave drivers are running out of whips and the light of freedom is getting brighter on the horizon. At some point the dog pack is going to realize the only thing between them and freedom is that very small whip. At that point you are going to see those same mullahs hanging on to their minnerets like a treed cat with a pack of starving dogs at their feet.

I dont think its been proven that the PLO were targeting Americans, just that they werent going to allow them to be human shields to protect the Israelis.

First, they were students, not human shields.
Second, it was shown that 100 feet from the English speaking lunch room was a Hebrew speaking lunch room. The target was clearly the Americans and other foreign students not the Jews.
And third, the whole concept of human shield is that the humanity of the attacker would be tested by them not shooting at the Jews because of the innocent targets.

The very premise that you propose, that the Americans were killed to prevent them from being human shields is incredible!

First it shows a bigotry beyond measure, that anybody who even might help Jews is a legitimate target for murder, and secondly that the Arabs have no humanity to test, that they would deliberately target the innocent.
