Yes, the Mossad looks out for Israel's interests (as it should), but much more often than not Israel's interests coincide or overlap with ours. For example, both countries share a common interest in hunting down and destroying the various Islamofascist terrorist organizations that infest that part of the world.

As for Syria, no one disputes that Syria supports Hezbollah, a terrorist group which among many other things is responsible for the deaths of 283 US marines in Beirut in 1983. Someone needs to tell me why now is not the time to bring these people to justice, even if doing so requires military action (or the threat of same) against Syria. I haven't even mentioned US intelligence reports that Syria is helping the Saddamites escape US capture.

Which Al Qaeda terrorists has Israel tracked down and destroyed? Seems to me they are focusing on those terrorists that are attacking them, all the time probably chuckling to themselves about now you Americans know what we have have putting up with.

Low level Saddamites are escaping to Syria. The upper level guys are all getting caught in Iraq because they dont trust Syrians anymore than we do.
