Marketing experts say the unions' star-based PR offensive could resonate with consumers. "Americans are fascinated by celebrities: They influence how you vote, what car you drive and what you feed your kids," notes image expert Allen Adamson of Landor Associates. "The best way for SAG to pressure the ad industry is to use celebrities - I just can't believe it took them this long to do it."

No doubt they use yellow ribbons so middle America will think that they support the troops.

I.E. They are asking the SAG to create a blacklist.

We need to press the issue that Sarandon and Robbins are publicly advocating a blacklist, and force the screen actors guild to respond to these blacklist requests in light of their recent condemnation of blacklists.

Yet, these "stars" don't want to be held accountable when they use their status to influence the public on the stance of the Iraqi war. When the public gets united to hold these people's feet to the fire for a wrong stance, then these same "stars" are yelling about their "1st Amendments" and how unfair these "stars" are being treated. What hypocrites! What garbage!

A "scab" is anyone (not just an actor) who crosses a union picket line to go to work.

It's an honest mistake to believe that it had someting to do with one of the many social diseases that are rampant in Hollywood, so don't worry about it!
