Foxnews Runs AWESOME Tribute to the American Military!

Posted on 04/16/2003 12:03:40 PM PDT by ConservativeMan55

Was anyone watching Foxnews just now? Oh it was so awesome! They played Darryl Worley's have you Forgotten? and then put it with pictures of the troops overseas! I'm going to request that they play it again, I was shouting at the TV in agreement!! It was an awesome tribute!

They showed some pictures of us bombing the hell out of Saddam's regime.

If they play it again I will record it, and try to make it into a slide show.

The car was attempting to ram one of our tanks, and it didn't even get close. We took the car, and the driver out.

My favorite part was when they showed the clip of the entire city of Baghdad shaking, and then the lights went out.

Words can't express how great it was. They showed pictures of the POWS, troops in action, us boming Baghdad, Saddam's statue coming down, kinds dancing in the streets...kids being let out of prison...Yes folks this is what the liberals didn't want to happen!

Does anybody have a transcript of Neil Cavuto's commentary yesterday about Hollywood actors? The end went something like...

"Payback is a bitch. Sounds like the title of one of your pathetic movies actually. Go to hell."

I guess if you live long enough, you'll see everything. Some Hollywood types are complaining that they are being blacklisted. Yes, the "Land of the Left" feels left out, and all because of the war in Iraq.

Now, most of them opposed it. Even as most Americans supported it. And now some of these actors and actresses say they're suffering because of it.

Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins were officially uninvited from an anniversary screening of the film Bull Durham. The president of the National Baseball Hall of Fame didn't fudge as to why -- it was their anti-war views. And now they're aghast. How could this happen?

It isn't fun, is it? To be taken out for speaking out.

But much of the Hollywood elite had no problem ostracizing right-leaning actors and actresses, thought out of step with this Left Coast bastion.

I remember Charlton Heston saying how his conservative views probably cost him a key role or two -- not to mention more than a few Hollywood party invites.

These Tinsel Town tarts and toads had no problem shoving off some conservative boob to the sidelines, but god forbid it should happen to them.

Now Martin Sheen wonders aloud whether his liberal biases are costing his fictitious president Bartlett at the Nielsen rating polls. No, maybe they're just tired of you!

It's a weird feeling being out of sync with the country, isn't it? It's strange when your fans aren't so adoring, or fans at all, is it? And it's not fun being not so cool anymore, is it?

You didn't seem to mind when it happened to other actors and actresses. Not a peep out of you when conservatives were dismissed, or the few Republicans among you were chastised.

Back then, it was cool to be cruel.

What's that they say? Payback is a bitch. Or was that just a line... from one of your pathetic movies?

Watch Neil Cavuto's Common Sense weekdays at 4 p.m. ET on Your World with Cavuto.

It was the "BLACKHAWK DOWN" scenario the Fedeyeen Sadaam thought would be so effective. Cars and trucks trying to kill our troops. 50 Cals took both of them out. What the idiots didn't realize is that in BLACKHAWK DOWN, those 'special vehicles' did NOT go up against Bradleys and M1A1 TANKS. Stupid....the future gene pool has just been enhanced.

I heard Neil yesterday. Another, "My Comments" gem. You might be able to find his transcripts at http://www.foxnews.com. I'll go check.

I listen to Rush on line at KOGO600 out of San Diego.
Every day, right after Rush is over (1400 Central - well, 1405 with the internet delay) they play the National Anthem.
First time I poped tall out of habit, felt foolish for a moment, right here in our lab, but then said No. I stood through it and thought about the service men and women who are not coming home from this little fracas.
Saw the clip you mention on FOX a few of days ago and now when Rush is over and they play the Anthem, I stand, sometimes interrupting conversations, and replay that clip in my mind.
I can't remember the names, but I can see their faces.
God speed guys.

They edited his speech on the website. He used many adjectives that they took out. You shouldn't edit Neil Cavuto. That is a crime.
