Uzma Bashir, a Human Shield volunteer in Baghdad, confronted imperial troops as they entered Baghdad last week. She wanted to know, from U.S. Marines, what it felt like to murder Iraqi children. Uzma has subsequently been physically threatened by U.S. Marines and we have received thinly veiled threats via our website from people saying they belong to the U.S. military:" (goes on to list 'threats')

The 'Human Shields' website (http://www.humanshields.org/), which has now been transformed from a forum for Western leftist/anti-American 'human shields' in Iraq who cooperated before and during the War with Ba'athist Iraqi Intelligence and opposed Coalition forces, to now 'morphing' into 'on-the-spot' free/indy unaccredited journalists who report on 'US invader/occupation force' 'atrocities' against Iraq and who also hurl abuse on international TV at American (USMC) forces in the course of the Coalition work in securing central Baghdad, is of some interest these days.

The radical anti-American leftists on this website go on now to cry about threats against "Baghdad Bashir" (UK shield and Socialist Worker stringer Uzma Bashir) (photo above) and other 'Darwin Award Candidates' by American military forces, including members reportedly of the Delta Force.

To think that American soldiers or Marines waste their time dreaming up threats to make against human shields is absurd. Delta operators don't make threats; they achieve their objectives. If the objective was to erase these nuts, they wouldn't be around to talk about how threatened they are. They have a grotesquely inflated sense of their own importance.

And if you really wanted to be rid of this girl, drag her vampire-lookin' ass out of her coffin, into the sunlight, and watch her explode.

Iraqis themselves thought the human shields were complete, utter idiots and fools to be there. Some shields left with a new perspective on the situation, others, like this whacko British chick, still hates American more than the satifaction that Iraq is now free. I hope Iraqis confront her and tell her that she isnt welcome and demand the new govt ship them all out.

Judging by her appearance in that photo, I would have taken her for a jihadi and threatened her too. Acting as a human shield in an Arab country dressed like that is comparable to throwing one's self under a moving bulldozer.

As for the 'threats' by the military....I don't believe the human shields. They're pulling a propaganda ploy for sympathy.

That is what is so precisely ludicrous and paranoid about all the whining over at the "Human Shields" website. But leave all that to military intelligence or the other guys/gals there in country. she is/was a combatant or enemy combatant sympathiser, subject now to British laws. she is IMHO of some post-facto intelligence value as she worked closely with Iraqi intelligence before and during the war. she may well have an idea where some of them bugged out to, including 'Baghdad Bob', whom I have her seen with him in an interesting Middle East TV video report. she had not changed her clothes for weeks i might add. i suggest full chem/bio suits for any military personnel going to apprehend her at the Palestine Hotel this week.

The photo above of dear Uzma, was from the British version of the TV show "Survivor" in which she was an actual contestant two years ago. It's true.

During his regime Saddam murdered over 2.2 million of his own people, that's about 240 a day.

Since the first day of the war we cut that rate to less than a one tenth of Saddams, and all our deaths were accidental, and these idiots want to protect his regime???
