[history]
The Defense Department has no plan to rescind its invitation to the Rev. Franklin Graham to speak at Good Friday services at the Pentagon, despite Muslim concerns over the evangelist's labeling of Islam as "a very evil and wicked religion."

If there is any hatred, it is directed at the sins against justice as exhibited by the Islamophobe bigots.

If there is any hatred, it is directed at the sins against justice as exhibited by the Islamophobe bigots.Islam is no more a mystery than Christianity. Both faiths have been maligned by men who thought they knew the true nature of God and both launched wars based on that "conceived" understaning.
The problem is not whether which faith is true but rather which faith does the most to promote individual freedom while reinforcing the ideals of the selected ideology.
In that respect, they've both failed.
The more important question is: are you willing to have your faith ascend to a position of dominance over the other based on your supposed understanding of its true nature that hasn't been displayed?
Better to have the role of faith retained to hearts and minds and keep them out of the political arena while the role of government is kept at the minimum of its bounds. Namely giving individuals the opportunity to pick a faith without fear of reprisal.

"This action would only bolster suspicions in the Islamic world that the war on terrorism and the war on Iraq is really an attack on Islam," Mr. Hooper said. "We can all guess what the reception would be for a religious leader who said that Christianity is evil or Judaism is evil or any other religion is evil."
Bolster suspicions??? Is this guy for real? Too late, bud!
And this is a Christian country... get over it. The majority wins. (Democratically of course!)

"INASMUCH AS liberals are demanding that Americans ritualistically proclaim, "Islam is a religion of peace," Muslims might do their part by not killing people all the time."
This is the best comment I have heard in a long time... now if only we could get the media and hollyweird to get it!!!
Best wishes ;)

"The rush to put Moslems to the sword because we believe their religion is from Satan only serves the intent of the evil one." "If there is any hatred, it is directed at the sins against justice as exhibited by the Islamophobe bigots."
I've never known an ISLAMOPHOBE BIGOT... but I do know a helluva lot of people who will defend themselves, and our cities and country, against ISLAMIC FANATICS OF ANY KIND.
Practice any religion you want, freely, until you infringe upon free people, or commit any act of violence. All bets are off then, sorry. Road to perdition comes to mind...

It seems that there are many religions in our beloved country and that they are all different. Adults seem to understand that fact. There is, however, only one "way, truth, and life."

It is my inderstanding that the AIC is not tainted by Wahhabism and terrorist connections. I believe their mission is as stated, and that they are not one of the groups playing the "victim" card.

Okay, I've seen the pictures you posted. But they don't actually address the issue that bothers Graham, Robertson and Falwell. They are reponding, not to some fantasy they have about Islam, but to the actual words and deeds of muslims. The ministers did not originate the idea that muslims are committing violence because of their religious beliefs. The muslims themselves have said this and the ministers are responding to that.
It is not just a few muslims talking and acting this way. It is thousands if you believe news reports across the globe. Muslim clerics are preaching violence in their places of worship in Saudi Arabia. When this kind of talk is so widespread, just claiming that it is a "minority" distorting Islam no longer works.

MUHAMMED ON KILLING OF CHRISTIANS:
Al Hadis, Vol 2, p. 436, Ibn Abbas reported that the Apostle of Allah said, "It is not politic to have two religions in the same land." Attested by Ahmed, Tirmizi, and Abu Daud. (This is the apologetic used by the Mullahs in Egypt and Sudan to discriminate against Christians, even to massacre them. Muhammed would be proud of their slaughter of the 400,000 Christians in Sudan.)
It is curious though that Muslims will cry for religious liberty in lands where they are in the minority. Those who give them open liberty may one day taste the sabre's cold blade.
Al Hadis, Vol 2, p. 388, Samorah-b-Jundub reported that the Holy Prophet said, "Kill the old polytheists (Christians who believe in the Trinity), and keep their young men, that is children, alive." Attested by Tirmizi and Abu Daud.
But Muhammed was not always so compassionate on children, as we see next:
Al Hadis, Vol 2, p. 450, Ibn Mas'ud reported that when the messenger of Allah wished to kill Oqbah-b-Abi Muait. the latter said, "Who is for the children?" to which Muhammed replied, "the fire." Attested by Abu Daud.

I didn't think Muslims observed Good Friday. So what business is it of theirs?

Looks like you got CJ all fired up. His name calling is a bit lame though his hate comes through clear enough. Wonder which Muslim group he belongs to...

Mr. Graham's appearance at the Pentagon "sends entirely the wrong message to the Muslim community," said Ibrahim Hooper, communications director for the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
Sweet... thank GOD the *right decision* was made to ignore these Islamists' "concerns" and their agenda to muhammadize our society.
To: Cultural Jihad
The fact is that even if only 5% of muslims want to kill us - it's enough to bring this country to it's knees.
The other 95% could be peace loving citizens and it wouldn't matter. Their upbringing does not raise them to stand up and talk against other muslims. Also, I think in the middle east, they do not believe lying is wrong - so we cannot believe anything they tell us.
These things plus the 5% who want us dead are the problems that are really unsolvable.
