Wouldn't it be something if prisoners were raised alive in Easter Week? Praying hard.
Amen to that Sister Freeper.

Did you find the thread about the other folks burried alive yet? :o)
To: Free Trapper
Uh, there are links to these threads all over the forum.

When I saw your post saying how good it would be if some folks were saved durring Easter week I thought you might like to see the (good) news first.

How can you be friends with a liberal? doesn't the overwhelming urge to slap some sense into them (either verbally or when that fails physically) take all the joy out of the relationship?

Uh, would the peaceniks like to tell us again why we shouldn't have taken out this regime? Nancy Pelosi had a secret plan to end all this and at far lesser expense...

My opinion is that Saddam knew he could not give up, because we would either kill him later, or prosecute him for crimes - and he would live his life in prison.
I believe he used a plastic surgeon to alter his appearance (then probably killed him) - and escaped to another country to spend his billions. The same goes for his sons....
He wanted us to think we got him and his sons so we would stop looking for them....

The actions of the antiwar weenies, which effectively would have left the sadistic regime of Saddam in place and the Iraqi people in chains, is no different than standing around and doing nothing while a woman is raped.
None of our business = they never attacked us.
Someone else will help her = let the useless UN do it.
No, I don't hear anything = ignoring the pleas and testimony of the Iraqi people, either here or in Iraq.
Maybe someone could talk the rapist out of the rape (after the fact) = diplomacy.
They make me sick to my stomach.

Saddam and his cronies are ghouls, to say the least. It would be a pity if he were dead and escaped the ridicule of mortal justice before meeting the damnation of eternal justice.
Where are the give-peace-a chance, anti-war protesters?

How can I be friends with a liberal? I'm converting her (and her family) slowly but surely.....some are open, and this friend is.....other "friends" dumped me....because I was conservative. So, the really, true, closed mind, liberals will not associate with conservatives, I've found.

Re:
"Perhaps a more productive way to elicit contributions from the other 99,000 is not to carpet bomb every thread but to use that time and energy to ASK THEM why they aren't contributing...." Good Idea...
In a word: "UNEMPLOYED".
Hope to be able to contribute some day, though.
Sorry 'bout that.

I once read that Hell was experiencing all of the pain you have inflicted on others. Saddam is responsible for a lot of pain.

Ivan: you have received many compliments on your posting prowess....I add mine. You are my "most forwarded" poster to friends that either won't or can't get FR. This includes several liberals.
I think we are turning minds...together. Keep up the good work friend. Cheers, and fine foamy pint to you sir!
