Most "peace" activists and anti-war protestors tend to show their true colors (Red or, in the case of Medea--Commie Codepinko) by their actions, leftist/Islamofascist dictator-worshipping and Marxist revolution-fomenting history. The virulent Arab protestors who glorify suicide bombings and cheer the "martyrs" in Iraq who kill Coalition troops are part and parcel of this crowd, too.

Nope, I can't advocate violence. After all, it someone were to hold said sign near the base of the placard, and the stick were repeatedly rammed into the face of the attacker, what would that prove?

I mean is they are yanking at the bottom of the stick and you are holding it at the top, there is every possibility the peaceful aggressor will end up with a broken nose, knocked out teeth, possibly a broken collarbone. It would be a real tragedy for someone to defend his property to the point a peaceful assault was prevented and the peaceful protester was sent to the hospital needing reconstructive surgery. A real damned shame.

And it wouldn't take much effort on the part of the peaceful protester to inflict some major damage on themselves if the person they peacefully assaulted wasn't in the mood to be a peaceful victim.

A little advice, to make the sign safer, it might be a good idea to round off the ends of the stick so they don't have any sharp edges. Ever looked at the end of a police billyclub? Nice and round.......

I had a similar experience with the so called 'pink ladies' a while back in front of the White House.

Several were gathered in front of the WH when I arrived there on a Fri to stand with my I support our troops sign (with the words-This war has always been Saddam's choice-on the flip side). Soon a tall guy with an anti-war, anti-President Bush sign appeared and stood with the ladies in pink. Others joined them two-until about 12 or so of them were lined up along the fence in front of the White House.

Several of the men began taunting me-one actually walking over with his huge sign, getting in my face-and actually yelling at me that he could not believe a woman would be for a war-asking what kind of a human being I was, etc.

In the blink of an eye a policeman came up behind me, followed by an officer on a bicycle, and asked if I would like an escort as I did 'my thing' in front of our White House. I said I would appreciate it-and I was escorted by a policeman on the bicycle for awhile-and have to say I enjoyed the nasty pink man retreating to line-up of unpatriotic skunks. They ignored me after this-hehe.

Pretty wonderful of our police (park in this case) to do this.

And I was just so uplifted-I stayed for hours.

My impression-the pink people are communists. And very angry. And I loved being there with my sign to help drive that burr up their you know whats-even further. hehe visiting you folks a while back to attend the Patriot's Rally in which Bob Dornan was the featured guest speaker (covered by CSPAN --- so my friends here at home could enjoy his words as well as the entire rally! Hooray!)
