One in four homeless people in South Korea have credit cards, according to a report.
The study comes amid concern over the number of people in the country running up bad credit card debts.
It found that 27.4% of homeless people had been issued credit cards as recently as last month.
The figure is based on a survey of 3,951 homeless people staying at 114 shelters across the country.
The Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare conducted the survey in March.
It found loans given to the homeless totalled £1.25 million pounds - of which more than £1 million is overdue.

Hmm. I wonder what this means in terms of the homeless in the USA and Britain?

Maybe we can attribute the 'melting plastic' in Korea to the gaping holes in the Ozone layer? ;-)

Well, how else do you expect the homeless to get frequent flyer miles? ;)

"There were no homeless til Bush took office, has to be his fault." So if Bush declares war on homelessness, then will the libs become human shields and take them in?
Can we petition Bush to give credit cards to the homeless? With all the goods they buy that'll get the economy humming and they'll want housing to protect all that stuff.
Maybe we can send our homeless to Iraq to teach the Iraqi's how to live without homes. After all, the libs say we destroyed all their homes.
(Yeh, I'm cynical too!)

Ever notice when slick was prez, the media rarely mentioned the few homeless in America. Bush took office and immediately the major cities were reporting hordes of homeless. Therefore it is Bushs fault. We have to trust CNN, you know...

What kind of address did they use to send these cards to?And once that dilemma is solved, where were they planning to send the statements to, maybe the Korean homeless have homes?

Not too much different than the thousands of college students having a pack of credit cards. What's even more entertaining is when the jobless college students have the limits on the credit cards increased dramatically by the various credit card companies.
