RadioFR Announces Satire/Comedy Night! ATTENTION ALL FR COMICS, WRITERS AND IMPRESSIONISTS.

Every third Wednesday, beginning this Wed the 16th, RadioFR will host a night of comedy, satire and levity, called "Fun with Tom and Hill".

This week we will be unveiling a segment written and produced by PJ-Comix titled "The Excellence in Liberalism Network", which will be a parody of a liberal radio talk show hosted by Al Frankenweenie. We will also have a report straight from Bagdad from non other then Christine Amon-Peer. (Amon- An Egyptian god, usually depicted with a human body and the head (face) of a ram). There will be additional segments but we won't give the away the whole show!

We plan on this being a regular monthly (at least) segment. FR is filled with some pretty good satirists, writers, and net up comedians. If you have a script or an idea for a show segment that you would like to produce, either once or serially, for a RadioFR broadcast, freepmail me and we'll see if we can put it on next month!

Don't forget to tune in Wed at 6pm pdt/9pm edt! Links will be posted on the Forum that day for you to click and listen while you FReep!

I think a funny serial bit would be "Internet Jeopardy". SNL did this several times with a very funny Sean Connery and it was hilarious. We could use political figures. An example;

Hillary - "Alex, I'd like "Government" for 400 please."

Alex - "What Federal department was responsible for the safety of President William Jefferson Clinton?"

Hillary - "The White House Press Corps?"

Etc., etc..

BTW - Don't anyone get their hopes up about producing a "Wednesday Update" ala SNL "Weekend Update"! Abner and her husband Victim of Circumstance have already laid claim to that segment!

Heheh. That reminds of two other segments that someone might want to do. How about something like "A moment with Andy Rooney" for the end of the show, or a "Jack Handy" reflections moment...

Actually Slim, none of this will be live, each segment will be taped directly into the studio and then edited together for a seemless production!.

Thanks, but the kudos need to go to the writers and actors who will be producing the content. I'm just the "organizer".
