Hollywood, CA The pro-abortion Feminist Majority Foundation on Monday launched its nationwide "Never Go Back" campaign, which aims to keep abortion legal in the United States. And it's receiving help from several of Hollywood's elite actresses and musicians.
Katherine Spillar, executive vice president of the abortion advocacy group who spoke at the campaign launch, said that the Supreme Court could have vacancies as soon as this summer, and those vacancies could threaten Roe v. Wade.
Spillar emphasized the importance of Senate leadership especially pro-abortion Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle (D-SD) in questioning all of President Bush's judicial nominees about their abortion stance and filibustering the nomination of anyone who does not take a stand on abortion rights.
"What a jurist thinks matters. It affects how they vote," Spillar said.
Actress Amy Brenneman, who was scheduled to be the event's featured speaker but could not attend the meeting for medical reasons, sent a video message to the group of about 50 people saying, "Reproductive freedom is the most important issue facing our leaders today," adding, "It is not a feminist issue. It is not a liberal issue. It is a women's health issue."
Other celebrities involved in the 20-state campaign include: Ashley Judd, Whoopi Goldberg, Tyne Daly, Minnie Driver, Cybil Sheppard, Morgan Fairchild, Camryn Manheim, and Gillian Anderson.

50 people? Where did they find a place in Hollywood to hold that many people? Even the featured speaker couldn't be bothered to attend.

You forgot the BARF alert, pal. This is soooo disgusting. Well, Hollyweird was wrong about the war . . . they're wrong about just about everything - most of all abortion. BTW, abortion causes breast cancer - www.AbortionBreastCancer.com

Morgan Fairchild? What a disappointment. I guess yet another Catholic-in-name-only. After her devotion to Our Lady of Medjugorje, too... How sad.

"I can't be there today, could someone rip a baby from a womb and beat it against the concrete floor for me? Remember, Reproductive Freedom is all about love. God Bless."

"Reproductive freedom is the most important issue facing our leaders today," adding, "It is not a feminist issue. It is not a liberal issue. It is a women's health issue."
The unmitigated audacity, the sheer ignorance, the utter stupidity, and the absolute absence of any moral judgment what so ever.

I wonder if Ashley Judd's mother is in agreement with her on this issue; after all, Wynonna wouldn't be here if Naomi thought abortion was an answer to an unwed pregnancy.
To: DLfromthedesert
Wynonna's obstetricians are still convince that Ashley is the product of an yeast infection fully ripened and throwing off spores.

Kill a baby, kill a cop - it's all okay with them.
Just don't eat meat or wear fur!

And this coming from the same liberal minded folks, who complained about the loss of innocent life during the war in Iraq. Yet, they do nothing about the innocent unborn baby.

Add them to the list. *sigh*, I loved the X-files, too. And Morgan Fairchild? Old Navy has lost my patronage.

who is the feminist majority? are they part of the martha burke "sperm stops here" nut cases?
To: Dirk McQuickly
Morgan Fairchild? This is nothing new for Morgan Fairchild, who was spouting out pro-free sex, pro-abortion, pro-school based clinics propaganda on one particular lefty show in the late 1980s.
To: DLfromthedesert
Ashley Judd has been brainwahed by Hollywood. She believes in Hollywood's motto, "Do as I say, not as I do."

I remember reading somewhere about her and her Mother disagreeing on that issue.
