Any such restrictions on how we help post-Saddam Iraq deserve but one tough response: a veto. And let's see how far the Democrats are willing to go to tie this Administration's hands in making sure we don't lose the peace over there.

Hillary Clinton's charge about the Bush Administration's obsession with secrecy really takes the cake. She was the one who hid important files for 8 years from investigators. And she has the chutzpah to lecture President Bush about transparency in government? ROFLMAO!

"I have absolutely no regret about my vote [against] this war," she said, noting a price tag of "probably $100 billion." "We could have probably brought down that statue for a lot less," Pelosi continued, referring to a statue of Saddam Hussein toppled by Iraqis with the help of U.S. Marines. "But the most important question at this time, now that we're toward the end of it, is what is the cost to the war on terrorism?"
What a colossal shit-for-brains.
The fact that she is the Democrat's House leader shows that they are scraping the bottom of the intellectual barrel.

Let's not forget her secret health care committee that concocted the socialist plan to take over the country's medical system. The secrecy violated Federal Law.
I'm tired of the pantsuit calling the kettle black!

Jackson Lee is seeking co-sponsors for a House resolution that would "instruct" President Bush to carry out Iraqi reconstruction efforts through NATO, the United Nations and non-governmental organizations. Correct me if I'm wrong, but since when can the legislative branch 'instruct' the executive branch?

"The mission, I believe, should have been a mission of reconciliation, of negotiation, of diplomacy,.... Dear Ms. Lee, we reconciled the Republican Guard to the fact they couldn't win, we negotiated their downfall as a fighting force and we diplomatically put their a$$es in a sling. Looks like you got what you wanted.

The Clinton admin. wouldn't reveal the identities of anyone on that health care reform group she headed, which they were legally required to. The Wall Street Journal did a piece on their Op-Ed where they listed a couple of hundred names rumored to be on the committee. They compared it to the kind of secrecy that existed in the Soviet Union. A judge, Royce Lamberth I believe, had to force them to release the names after a lawsuit by some conservative groups.

Jackson Lee is seeking co-sponsors for a House resolution that would "instruct" President Bush to carry out Iraqi reconstruction efforts through NATO, the United Nations and non-governmental organizations. The proposal would also urge the use of minority-owned business to fill government contracts.11th Goal Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)
Sounds to me like this "shiela" is following the game plan to the tee.

"The mission, I believe, should have been a mission of reconciliation, of negotiation, of diplomacy, of the use of U.N. inspections and, therefore, war being the last option," she said.I am sick and tired of these @$$holes putting our national security, the future of OUR nation, and the safety of our children, DEAD LAST.

"We could have probably brought down that statue for a lot less"A lot less in terms of dollars, but a lot more in terms of American lives. In that case, Pelosi would have taken great joy in screaming about the casualties as proof that the "cost" was too high.

Seems to be a mute point. Soon there will be another new government set up in Iraqi, with mostly Iraqi's involved. Try telling them who will get to rebuild. Bush is so cool.

The dimocRATs,n the French, the Germans, the Russian's ... the coalition of the assholes.
Hitlery talking about secrecy ... now there's a case of the pot calling the kettle black.
Nancy Pelosi ... she supports socialism, her constituents need to pull their heads outta their asses and get rid of her on the next election.
