Steve, Rita and Mac are fantastic. Rita is just so great-and she likes FReepers-been known to throw back a few with the DC crowd. She really listens to guests and fellow reporters and draws up the scenes like no one else. I love her soft voice, I love the respect she shows commentators and I love her enthusiasm. Senator Hatch is enjoying himself immensely! FOX NEWS CABLE RULES!You'd better put the bottle back in the liquor cabinet before your daddy comes home.
She listens, my butt. She's a motor-mouthed imbecile. If she was listening, she woudn't have asked General Mac if the AK-47s were "ours".
There is no excuse for a so-called "seasoned news pro" covering a war, not to know what an AK-47 is, and who uses them.

CNN showing Al Arabya TV footage of Marines holding four snipers -- closeup of faces not supposed to be seen, but not much can be done about it. Better to show they aren't being kicked or beaten than to throw the Arab reporters out and have them charge improper treatment (however, one did have a face injury, bleeding slightly).

Rita rules!!!

Well I really don't mind how he got himself hurt. He is lucky to be breathing. Better him bleeding from the head than one of my Marines.

I was talking to my brother (army vet) and he said the Fedyheen is just Iraqi loyalists Uday commanded. But the foreigners who are sniping and doing the suicide bombings are probably agents and terrorists sent from Syria, Egypt, Saudi, & Yemen to destabilize the country as well as commit terrorist acts and kill Americans.

"
Is he Iraqi or Syrian?"How can you tell? It's like telling a Canadian from an American, isn't it. Aren't most Middle Easterns similar?

I may be wrong but I think they can show a capture but not a "interrogation" once in custody. Anyone??
To: areafiftyone
NBC reporting 3 prisoners taken....CNN reporting 4. Which is it?
To: Carolinamom
I don't get MSNBC so it's FOX for me. Sometimes I do switch to CNN just for contrast. I don't dawdle there though.
To: Ima Lurker
It's funny how we all apologize for even turning to CNN! My son despises them and chatizes me when I "check out the opposition." I like to see Judy Woodruff suffer.

Rita and Geraldo are embarrassments to FNC. Both can't go 2 minutes without saying something stupid.
To: renosathug
At one point during the fight the General said "thats the sound of an AK 47". Rita then said "thats one of ours right?"
At this point, I fell out of my chair knocking myself unconcious and missed everything else.

"An AK-47 is not a good sniper weapon. Supposedly we have radar systems that can trace bullets back to withing centimeters of their origin." Yup. We have artillery that can shoot 11 miles and come within 2 feet of the target. Amazing.
