About a dozen Americans gathered in Hollywood to face off against the anti-war left at 1pm yesterday.

Palm Beachers that made the trip were Dennis Macilwain, John Hallman from CSE, Mathew Rogers from Free Republic, and myself.

John Hallman brought a few other people whose names I didn't catch.

We were about a block a way from only about twenty anti-war leftists, with police between us and them and two very supportive Hollywood police officers that stayed next to us the entire time.

The people of Hollywood had to pass the lefties before they got to us.

You could see their faces light up when they saw us! The honking was tremendous! Pay special attention to the photo named Holly.

Holly is holding up a picture of her 21 year old son who is stationed in Kuwait and has made six "excursions" into Iraq.

Leave it to the lefties to bring a knife to a gun fight. They didn't have a bullhorn! We had two bullhorns and the support of the people.

We crushed them.The biggest problem the police had all day was trying to stop more than one motorist from physically attacking the anti-war lefties.

At one point a young veteran wearing his Black Beret jumped off his motorcycle and challenged the lefties to a fight one at a time.

talked him into joining our rally instead of fighting! We spent the next several hours with him.

A lot of media, both print and T.V. As we were packing to leave the Police Officers came over and thanked us for being there.

We then drove to Boca for the start of the 4pm Boca Rally. Holly and her friend joined us.

The highlight of the entire day was when Holly called her son in Kuwait and we spoke to him. He heard all the honking and yelling and was holding his phone up for the other guys in his outfit to hear! I thanked them and told them America loved them and was praying for them.

The Boca Rally ended around six.
Boca Raton City Council woman Susan Haynie attended, along with City Council candidate Joann Morrison and Sheriff's candidate Fred Mascaro and numerous other great Americans.
