If Russia waits until 17 UN resolutions are passed and ignored by the offending country, I won't blame them for acting in their self interest, either.+++
I beleive Russia will ignore UN likewise US all together. Why bother?

The deal was that Turkey would be reimbursed for it's economic losses caused by her closing her borders wih Irak. This never materialized, in short we were conveniently told that "oops, it did not pass congress." Just as I thought, extortion. How in the hell can anyone measure that ? Its not possible. I would have voted against that.

Every country spies on every other country.
Remember when X42 was worried about some other country hearing his conversations with Monica.

All of the enumerated rights are worhtless if the come from the state. +++
State is just to protect rights. Doesn't american state protect rights?
But the source of rights is not from state.

BTW Chchens never would give up thier capital without fight like Iraqis did. I heard a rumor a while back that you guys fired off a few ICBMs - I believe they were some old SS-19's, without the nuke warheads of course - at Grozny. Is this true?

Now Russia and others will use forces more freely. If someone will rebuke her Russia will finger point on US. Yes, I noticed how N Korea is sounding even more belligerant today and how russia has grown as quiet as a guilty dog that just pooped the carpet.

Remember that we are depending on the Russians to bring our astronauts back from the international space station.
Count on them to extort a huge sum of money from us.

You're right. If Russia believes we ignored the UN, contrary to the facts, there is no reason why Russia should pay attention to the UN.
Who do you want to attack? America?

Russia GDP: $1.27 trillion +++
Accually I beleive that even CIA don't know exact amount of Russia GDP. I think even Russia goverment know that estimately.
Huge part of russian economy is in shades.
I'm for one was 10 years unemployed according goverment statictics. But in reality I made just like $20000 per month in same time.

BTW Chchens never would give up thier capital without fight like Iraqis did. They would if they were dead. The Iraq's didn't give up, they were beaten to a pulp by our air superiority. Pretty much the same outcome for Checna if faced by our air.

With so much confusion going on in Baghdad right now, it seems odd that something like this would have been found and taken to a western journalist. It is very mysterious.Right, this is a major deal, if true! We need to slow down and verify what this is about and whether true!

More Turkish crap du jour. Definitely not a delight.

None just know. But who knows what it will be.
If America will not touch Russia's interests then America will nothing to worry about Russia.

The problem is that Iraq was one of Russia's interests.

Black market? Were you selling night vision goggles to Saddam?
If you were making so much money in Russia, why did you come to the US? And of course you are always free to go back, the US does allow people to leave, unlike the Soviet Union did.
To: RusIvan
Fine we won't touch their interests but you will lose our... and some how I think it will be much more devastating...
To: a_Turk
Now that really is the merde du jour.
