Her Arizona home is thousands of miles from the streets of Baghdad, but Christa Wiggans said she spans that distance daily with prayers for American troops and their cause.
The power of prayer, she said, has boosted weary soldiers, brought clarity to political and military leaders and influenced battles to swing America's way. With U.S. forces in the heart of the Iraqi capital, prayer in the conflict has been "right behind the military, right behind the soldiers," Miss Wiggans said. "Prayer is absolutely as powerful."

Big been prayin' morning ,noon, and night bump!( God does take sides when innocents are being tortured, murdered, and gassed and nations choose profit and cowardice rather than helping.)

I think anyone who, in the last three weeks, has not prayed for our President, the Troops, or someone they know in the service has some 'splainin' to do sooner, or later.
I'm an atheist.

The winter will lose its cold,
as the snow will be without whiteness,
The night without darkness,
the heavens without stars,
the day without light,
The flower will lose its beauty,
all fountains their water,
the sea its fish,
the tree its birds,
the forest its beasts,
the earth its harvest -
All these things will pass before
anyone breaks the bonds of our love,
And before I cease caring for you in my heart.
May your days be happy in number as flakes of snow,
May your nights be peaceful,
and may you be without troubles.
God Bless America and Our Troops
