He NEVER had a majority of the vote - you may want to be more cautious with that line of reasoning. WJC got more votes (popular) than his opponents, something W can't say.

They were both elected - let it go.

Clinton had a plurality not a majority. He never got more than 50% of the vote. I may be wrong but I believe W got higher popular vote numbers than Clinton (I could swear I've heard Rush make this statement more than once but my brain cells are a bit overloaded lately so please don't yell at me if I've misremembered).

Of course, the constitution requires the use of the electoral college. So I'm not sure what your point is by saying that Gore got more votes. He didn't get them where they mattered.

Also, while Clintoon received more votes than his then-opponents, he did NOT receive more votes than George W. Bush, who received the third highest number of votes in U.S. history, behind Reagan ('84) and Gore in 2000.

Personally, I would not boo a former President. But, I can easily see why people would boo Clintoon. The man is a disgrace.

Fox reported about a nationwide recount about a month ago(?) That had Bush ahead over all by @1000 votes. He did get the majority! (I'm sure CNN mised that one, aye?)
