"we don't need to dwell on it" "one of the five greatest politicians of the 20th century"

The Clinton regime actually says more about the American people than anything else. 2/3 thirds supported a liar, a pervert, illegal campaign contributions, and an attempt to bring this nation down, etc......................

This generation that found Clintonism acceptable and supportable is what is at issue.

To ignore what so many were seduced with leaves the seed bed planted, fertilized, and ready for sprouting again.

Clinton is a symbol, could have been anybody sowing the seeds of destruction so easily under the guise of "I FEEL YOUR PAIN".

The question to dwell upon is how to stand against the seduction of feel goodism while enslaving the mind.

Booing by an audience is not the same as gloating by Republican officeholders and conservative columnists. President Bush is very good at not gloating and I take my cues from him.

However, this was booing by an audience of New Yorkers, many of whom are probably registered democrats. You don't know that the booers were Republicans, unless you want to take Bill Clinton's word for it. Maybe they were fed-up New Yorkers, many of whom blame 9/11 on his policies.

By the way, welcome to Free Republic.

Hey, isn't that just free speech? I thought the left loved that stuff. Or is free speech only good when they're the ones doing the talking?

If you feel it's fine & dandy to boo a former POTUS you don't like (maybe even applaud the booing) don't be so two-faced to complain when it happens to a former POTUS you happen to like & admire. Civility is dead & I mourn it's passing.

Pssstt! Bill and Hillary were the pallbearers.

Bill Clinton's arrogance, vicious public attacks and complete contempt for the law and our military are what earn him boos, not his politics (which change at the drop of a hat). Find me another President with a myriad of lawsuits, who has been impeached, disbarred, & used the military multiple times to deflect attention from his public scandals, and then you can accurately use the "two-faced" description.

Actually, he gets booed everywhere now.

He was getting booed a lot before he left office. It's just that he and the enabling, leftist media accomplices abetted him in creating the image that he was/is truly loved by the masses. My own experience. I was at Camden Yards when Cal Ripken broke Lou Gehrig's consecutive game streak. Unfortunately, Clinton was there too. EVERY time his ugly face was shown on the jumbo-tron, the WHOLE crowd (50,000 people) booed mightily. And this is Baltimore - a democrat stronghold.

He NEVER had a majority of the vote thanks to Perot. He was and is living in a dreamland where he thinks people actually like and respect him. He seems to get upset when his little illusion gets shattered with a reality check.

An excellent display of a Saddam mindset.

Exactly. I thought during his presidency (shudder) that if he could, he would round up the "right-wingers" ala concentration camps.

Now I look at how Saddam had Shi'ites and other groups segmented off and such.

And no, I don't think I'm overstating it. I think he wishes he could do stuff like that.

Leonardo da Vinci used to roam the streets of Florence to find grotesque characters to draw. He missed this one from Arkansas.

Again, let's move on.

Gee, I can't imagine why anyone would confuse you with a Clinton defender. :-)

I have noticed that as well. If I let my spiritual guard slip at all I almost like and feel empathy for squirt.
But it is always for just a split second.
That is what the power of satan will do to those who are not spiritually grounded. That is why the Bible says many will be decieved who should know better.

The Post confirmed Clinton's Republican comment, adding that he "seemed angered" at his reception.

It's common knowledge that X42 cannot, and never has been, very good at accepting direct criticism. Every "inside the White House" book from his two terms has a section in it where he literally turns purple with rage after somebody showed him up to be the lying jerk that he is.

Unlike Hitlery, for whom it truly is all about power, Bill's overriding reason for ever getting into politics was to acquire compliments.

Back in 1968 a protester was arrested at the insistance of former V.P. Spiro Agnew. Seems the protester had shot the bird at the v.P. and Mr. Agnew took exception. He promptly
directed the secret service to arrest him.
The protester appealed his arrest all the way to the supreme court where they ruled it was protected free speach
and expression.
The person kicked out of this event should bring up on charges the folks responsible for his eviction.
As for billy bob klinton, if he thinks his reception there was bad, he ought to come to my house and see what kind of reception he'd get. The perverted piece of turd.

Thank God there were republicans there. At least some people have taste and intelligence. And I'm willing to bet there were just a few 'dems' who booed also. His gig is up. Go home billery.
