Understandably, Leo Sr. says he doesn't want to talk about son Vincent right now. "My son is no hero," he told Steve Miller of this newspaper. "Those kids getting shot at and killed are. I will not exploit the hunger for knowledge, nor slip into a gloat for my son or my family, while other families weep. When the war is over, I will speak." A father's love, a soldier's compassion. Focused and determined, committed and honorable. Brothers with love of family, self and country. They do our country proud.

These men and men like them are only one color and that is the color of the uniform of the day. A salute.
