Thanks this thread is wonderful for many of us that can only come on for a few minutes some times, today especially because couldn't leave the TV so I had to make up work today. I was just wondering if it is as peaceful under the Palace where Greg Kelly is?

For those on the West Coast, Jay Leno is doing a Jeopardy skit, and it looks like they are going to have a Baghdad Bob character and a Frenchman who surrenders. Just to give you all a Baghdad Bob headsup.

FoxNews talking about the 55 top-most wanted Iraqis. The General implied the GWB administration has a problem with borders. They failed to close the Afg-Pak border near Tora Bora and many Al-Qaeda got through. Now, they similarly failed to close the border with Syria-Iraq where probably the Iraqi heirarchy escaped. [I could add two additional borders that the GWB administration has major problems with: US - Canada and US - Mexico.]

Amazing. As Iraqi cities come into Coalition hands, the amount of profuse sweating...errrrr...perspiring has drastic increased in Paris, Berlin, Moscow. It's gonna be funny listening to them 'splain. Perhaps they are in a mad dash to hire Bagdad Bob as their spokesman.

Tony Snow is reporting that the French press is turning on Chirac---that he bet on the wrong team, and lost.

Am watching the AbuDhabi TV webcam. They are showing more and more images and statues of Saddam being torn down. Showing looting. Some minor skirmishes amongst the locals. [I have no idea what they might be verbalizing, but they are showing seeming uncensored video.]

FoxNews showed a clip of a marine with a chisel and hammer. He was chipping off pieces of one of Saddam's downed statues and handed a piece to one of the other marines standing there. Looks like they are collecting souvenirs.

Some get the palace, some have to do as they can. Either way, they appreciate the Mother of All Baths:

Re: Looting.
After the LA pro basketball team wins, they burn parts of LA. Same with many other cities where teams win. Comparatively, the Iraqis seem relatively sedate. After all, they were just liberated. It's not like they won the Badgad City Basketball Championship.
