"She seems to have it together, too" (linda vester)
Yes, I agree wholeheartedly. She's my hands-down favorite daytime anchor. She's got the brains for the job and I don't think I've ever heard her ask an inane question (think Dari & Allyson).
Here's her bio:
Prior to joining FNC, Vester was an anchor/correspondent for NBC News as well as host of Today in America on MSNBC. While at NBC, she anchored NBC News at Sunrise from 1996-1998. From 1992-1996, Vester served as a correspondent covering major news events for the network and Weekend Today, including the crash of TWA Flight 800, the Olympic Park bombing, the Montana Freeman standoff and the Rwandan war.
Before this, she served as a reporter for NBC Newschannel and WFLA-TV (NBC) in Tampa, Florida, where she provided extensive coverage of Operation Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf.
Vester began her career at NBC in 1990 as a researcher and producer based in New York. A graduate of Boston University (magna cum laude) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, Vester also earned an honors diploma from the Sorbonne in France and was a Fulbright Scholar of Middle East affairs based in Egypt.

Did FOX just change their lead story on the Web-Site? It now says:
"Possible Mobile Bioweapons Lab Found"
To: adam_az
Shouldn't that say 20 100?

It was probably identified through preliminary assemsment of level and type of radioactivity as well as color (Pu goes from green to pink depending on level of enrichment. But, it's been a while so don't hold me to that).
Plutonium, warm because of energy released in alpha decay, is a silvery metal that takes on a yellow tarnish in air.
Chemically reactive, it dissolves in acids and can exist in four oxidation states as ions of characteristic colour in aqueous solution: Pu3 +, blue-lavender; Pu4 +, yellow-brown; PuO+/2, pink (?); PuO2+/2, pink-orange.
--Encyclopedia Britannica
I believe that enrichment, in the context of nuclear weapons, is referring to uranium.

This is another find on top of the nuke stuff. I'm listening ot Bill Tierny (former REAL U.N. Weapons Inspector) on the Schnitt show as we speak. He is discussing the site in question. I'll post more as he talks...

If we know Ann, that is one of her most favorite compliments, because it means they can't even BEGIN to disagree with her. :)

so true.
I told her that i wanted to be Ann Coulter if/when I ever grew up. She just about had a stroke. ;)

Odd, that was exactly what my leftist office mate suggested, except she was serious. Of course, she also felt that the only reason the Iraqi people were celebrating, was because
they had to please their new rulers.... I've stopped debating with her a long time ago, but hearing her say these things gives me hope that indeed the left is like a bunch of people waiting for an elevator:
Even though the light is on, they keep pushing the self destruct button.

Can't be!!! Didn't this guy state categorically that Saddam doesn't have any nuclear program or other efforts to develop WMD? He should know because he was there! ........... until Dec 98.
...then he went to Burger King!

She was on Sunday nite. Her demeanor is happy no matter the story. I don't think her happiness/glee was a reflection of a desire for Gore to win. That is just the way she is. It is very disconcerting to see her happily reporting American combat deaths. She is not one of my favorites either.

LOL! My mom loves Clinton, too. Loved, past tense maybe? My dad says she's not a liberal, and she's much more conservative than I think she is, (and I am sure that she will ever admit.) During the whole scandal/impeachment her explanation was "He (Clinton) just has some sexual problems." She even wrote a letter of support to him, and KEPT THE THANK YOU THEY SENT HER.
Needless to say, I won't be telling her that my 12 year old daughter, her granddaughter, borrowed Ann's book Slander from me to read.(?!?!?!?!!!) She even brought it to school and read the left's funny quotes to her friends.
