[history]
April 10, 2003 -- WITH the Iraqi people dancing atop a dictator's fallen statue, the pundits who forecast an American bloodbath have begun to change their story. Implying that our military achievement wasn't all that grand, they tell us Saddam didn't even have much of a plan to defend his country.

The greatest military and the greatest country in the world did a superlative job. Its still too early for the victory parades. Rest assured, they will come.

To an extent, that's a valid concern. But it's also secondary. The basic lesson that governments and militaries around the world just learned was this: Don't fight the United States. Period. This stunning war did more to foster peace than a hundred treaties could begin to do. I believe it!

And don't forget that this is a war that Clinton could NEVER have waged. It is President Bush and his team , that put this amazing , wonderful thing together.

The worst part of this whole thing will be when Bush loses to the Dems in '04.

Our military is the BEST homeland security. Kudos to our commander in chief and the tenacious, imaginative Rumsfeld/Cheney/Wolfowitz/Rice battalion!

Don't ignore the bounceback of the folks (Commies who are really mad) who teach our children and still have a stranglehold on 95% of the media. That's what I'm smoking. Want some?

NO, President Bush the younger is NOT his father and the economy WILL be okay ( unless something catastrophic happens ) during '04. Also, this is NOT 1991-1992 ... we have had terror attacks on our own soil.

Keep in mind, that the economy is going toward a cyclical depression mode. It's not the current admin's fault, but they will surely be blamed for it.
The idiots who vote Dem, ie, soccer moms, people who don't read, unions, and the dead will vote for the Dem Candidate when, in a year and a half, they forget all about this.
I will be spun in a different way.

You're forgetting that this world has changed. We have the net now. We have FNC now. We have DRUDGE now.We have more and more and MORE talk radio outlets now. We have ABCNBCCBSCNN losing LOTS of ther viewership now. We have an army of FREEPERS now.
Public schools, some parochioal and private schools, and the top tier of colleges may have MARIST teachers, but that's why parents are the ones who actually raise their kids. Don't you ...if you have children ?
" BOUNCEBACK " ? Do you mean " BLOWBACK " ?
Also, you're completely forgetting that due to the ridiculous campaign finance bill, Dems are having an almost IMPOSSIBLE time raising enough money. If their supporters run their usual crummy adds ... they TOO are against that little Bill, that the Dems were oh SO hot to get passed. BLOWBACK ? They're the ones who are facing it.
No, I am NOT over confident; I'm just NOT ready to throw in the towel over an hypothitical possibility. Neither shoud YOU be. :-)

swing voters don't watch fox news, they don't surf FR, they may surf the web occassionally, but that means AP news wires.
swing voters watch abccbsnbc news for about 10-30 minutes a day. I believe GWB will win because I think that unlike his dad, his high numbers are due to people actually liking him personally and trusting him. Pop's high numbers were based solely on the first stunning military victory since Vietnam. Another factor is no Ross Perot, and even if there is a Ross Perot, people won't bite. After the Clinton years, knowing that their Perot vote meant 8 years of filth in the White House independent men will not soon make the same mistake. So overall, I believe Bush will win.
But I thought it was impossible for Clinton to win twice. To me, it was completely unfathomable. I won't make that mistake again. If Hillary wins in 2008 I am starting my own country on a small Pacific island.

Swing voters, more and more listen to Sean Hannity's radio show. Swing voters DO like & trust President Bush the younger. If they don't read FR, FREEPERS
must work to get the vote out, for President Bush, in '04 ! What are we, all mouth and no legs ? It's incumbent on us to get President Bush re-elected
WITH large majorities in both House.
Hitlery! won't run, in '04. No, I'm NOT " positive "; just as calculating as she is.Running against an " unknown " , in '08 is more her style. Besides, her " war chest " isn't anywhere near full enough for a run in '04 and NOT likely to be so.
Another Perot is possible; however, as you said, many of those gullible political naifs woke up after Clinton won two terms AND the Reform Partry imploded.
If HITLERY! wins in '08,there'll be no place to hide. A reinactment of Massada mighht just be called for. :-(
