Did you beat the "king of ping?" I think one of the best stories I heard today was that Iraqis in Basrah had Al-Jazeera reporters literally fleeing for their lives across the border into Kuwait...I just had a vivid mental picture of Peter Jennings flinging himself into Niagra Falls to avoid conservative villagers with flaming torches...

Ann Coulter is absolutely great. Actually she is 99.99% perfect, 0.01% being taken off for her appearances on Bill Maher's show.

If anyone knows how to get email to Ann Coulter, she may find this interesting:

The Yale Daily News ^ | April 7, 2003 | NICK BAUMANN
At another installment in the University's series of faculty forums Friday, six Yale professors offered a number of anti-war views on the causes and possible consequences of the current conflict in Iraq.
The April 4 event in Davies Auditorium, which drew several hundred students and professors, featured law school professor Bruce Ackerman; anthropology professor Arjun Appadurai; Ethics, Politics and Economics chairwoman Seyla Benhabib; African American Studies chairman Paul Gilroy; history professor Ben Kiernan; and ethics, politics and economics professor Gaspar Tamas. The panel, sponsored by the Program of Ethics, Politics and Economics, stood in stark contrast to the largely pro-war faculty forum on March 26, which featured professors such as diplomat-in-residence Charles Hill and political science professor Paul Kennedy.
[snip]
Kiernan said he wondered if the ends justified the means in the current war. He said the damage to international law and security and the consequences of the "invasion and devastation" of an independent Arab state continued to raise questions.
Ironically, liberal historian Ben Kiernan is the world's foremost authority on the Khmer Rouge atrocities of 1975-1979, and is founder of the Cambodian Genocide Project.
Would Kiernan have said the same thing if we had liberated Cambodia from the KR in 1975?

What the liberal absolutely fail to understand (No surprise) is that freedom of speech only protects your speech from government retribution. It does not protect them from citizens who scorn and reject them for what they say.
Find me the people who claim that their free sheech is being demied. Now show me one instance where the government is punishing them.
such idiots they are

Coulter is a beautiful woman born with a pair of balls. That is more than can be said of many MEN in the government and media.

Liberals are no longer a threat to the nation. Unfortunately not yet true, but the trend is promising.

Even the promisingly titled "die-ins" always fail to deliver. Heh heh. She does have a way with words.
However, I wouldn't be quick so quick to say that liberals are no longer a threat. Look at the precarious hold on the Senate, and they're still the predominant voice in the print and broadcast TV (vs cable) media. They need to be defeated in depth.
(And there are a few on "this" side who are no friends of liberty -- Patriot Act, anyone?)
