We can't make the whole world like us. That's a fact. However, we can make them respect us. Given a choice between the two, I'd choose "respect" over "like" any time. Perhaps the next time some tin-pot tyrant gets a bee in his bonnet, he'll remember what happened in Iraq. That's not such a bad thing.

Just like under communism, not everybody suffered. There were those who "feasted during the famine". Not everyone who ran things were Saddam's relatives because he ran out of jobs for them. A group of people did live the good life, off the blood of others. These people are the ones CNN will seek out to put on camera. Saddam's end wasn't good for them. Luckily they are a small minority. They should be worried about getting strung up by their own people anyway.

Methinks that Craig Nelson is the one who resents the US actions.
If Mr. Nelson is a US citizen I hope he is denied reentry into OUR country.

CNN will always be sympathetic to those who opposed the USA. Their ratings will continue to sink and yet, they will always wonder why.

". . . because we are a big western power doing something they couldn't do themselves."It's kind of like we had to go in there and wipe their ass for them. You can understand the resentment. Ultimately, however, we had to go over there because certain of them decided to come over here and mess with us.
No regrets for terrorist bastards and those who harbor them. The game is over. We're coming to get you no matter how many countries "resent" having their asses wiped.

Yeah just like the Kuwaitis now resent us. Maybe the Iraqis won't be ungrates like the Europeans.
To: Mears
Liberals always have said war will only tick off more terrorists and their arrogant attitude and message is: Bush and conservatives are stupid warmongers with no education to talk nice and win hearts. Therefore, when confronted with these pictures today, liberals are forced to admit Iraqis are happy about something, but no way could they carry the logic to it's full end. That would prove them wrong.
