Garofalo had no comment. Good, and keep your mouth shut.

Garofalo had no comment.Well that's a first. Maybe she's learning. I seem to remember her saying something about if there was WMD in Iraq she'd personally deliver roses to the Whitehous. I hope she's bought her ticket.

Whooooaaaa, now the heat is on.
Certainly, Garofalo might just have a few functioning brain cells of sense, just enough to have a motor response to SHUT HER D&MN MOUTH and not totally trash her own career!!!!!

"Our country is founded on a sham: our forefathers were slave-owning rich white guys who wanted it their way. So when I see the American flag, I go, 'Oh my God, you're insulting me.' That you can have a gay parade on Christopher Street in New York, with naked men and women on a float cheering, 'We're here, we're queer!' -- that's what makes my heart swell. Not the flag, but a gay naked man or woman burning the flag. I get choked up with pride." -- Garafolo, 1998

Pooooooooooooooooooor baby. Now she'll think she's a leftist martyr, like the Anita Hoffman character she played in "Steal This Movie" (which was so bad no one would even steal it.)

Strange...I haven't seen anything on FR about protesting her sitcom. Time for a search.

Why does this pudgy little twerp garner so much press? She's a stand up comedian with a smart mouth and a NY accent, for cryin' out loud.
Good luck to her getting laughs when she decides to get back to comedy.

How is she going to have time to do a show when she's crawling to the White House, on her knees, on broken glass, as she promised? She made this promise to O'Reilly last month. She was so SURE she would be RIGHT. And what's happening in Iraq right now proves she's wrong.

I'd love to see her on Fox & Friends and watch Slugfest II with Brian Kilmeade. Brian was over in Kuwait with the soldiers before the start of Operation Iraqui Freedom and he was great, just great!

In other news:
ABC has announced it has a tentative agreement signed with "Baghdad Bob" the former Iraqi Information Minister.
He is expected to replace Petah Jennings, because they've determined that Baghdad Bob's misinformation is more in line with ABC's directives.

O'REILLY: If you are wrong
and if the United States and they will, this is going to happen goes in, liberates Iraq [with] people in the street, American flags, hugging our soldiers
you gonna apologize to George W. Bush?
GARAFALO: I would be so willing to say, "I'm sorry". I hope to God that I can be made a buffoon of, that people will say, "You were wrong. You were a fatalist". And I will go to the White House on my knees on cut glass and say, "Hey, you and Thomas Friedman were right
I shouldn't have doubted you"
Calling Janeane Garafolo...

I don't know why ABC bothers to produce sitcoms, their news is funny enough.

If she feels the hit, she'll never say. She doesn't seem the type to make conciliatory gestures of good will.
