Moderator's Note: Normally we don't want up DU posts or the like. However, given the circumstances, we are going to let this thread slide. Thanks, AM
I know we're not supposed to post DU stuff, but I think this thread is VERY telling and exposes their true agenda.
"it's staged!"
"this is about to be a really ugly day!!"
And lots of anger, sadness, fear and loathing.
Their chracter is further exposed: the America haters don't give half a **** about the Iraqis, they're just about hateing America.

The RATS who rallied against Clarence Thomas are the same ones who supported Clinton. During the Anita Hill-Clarence Thomas hearings, not once did the RATS ever say, "Hey, lighten up. It's just about dirty jokes!"
The same DEMS whose favorite feminist mantra had been "The personal is the political" are the same ones who, when it came to Clinton, were saying, "His personal life is none of our business!"
The Democrats effectively abandoned and undermined many of their own old feminist mantras.

Ah yes, that "sentiment" by a "veteran" was a reaction to a soldier draping an American flag around a Saddam statute...what's scary is that you have some posters agreeing with it!

My conscience had been bugging me a bit, about my reaction to Rachel Corrie's death, until I read the DUers on Michael Kelly. Personally, I stayed away from the Rachel Corrie threads. I didn't agree with her and thought what she did was foolish, but some of it was a bit unseemly. To each his own.
The Michael Kelly stuff was so nauseating Instapundit linked to it as an example of the hysterical, hypocritical left.

I lurk over there sometimes, and I know it is bad, but I can't believe the post I just read. Someone actually posted the following on a thread re today's events:
"This has to be the worst day in history .... I would rather put up with ten Saddams than have that loser chimp boy and his ilk in charge."
I am convinced that Bush's election, the midterm butt-whipping, and now the success we have had in Iraq have all combined to drive those people completely insane.

Please, freepers, send some of the quotes from DU to FOX NEWS...hopefully they will report what some in the democratic party ranks are saying about this. Send that forum to all news services. FR has been making the news as a rabid right wing website that immorally "FReeps" polls and targets entertainers like the Vichy Chicks for unfair boycotts.
Let the media know what goes on at liberal sites.
Truly they are the Hate America First crowd.
BTW, FR has been contributing to the language of this conflict. We helped propagate the use of the term Useful Idiots for the protestors, we certainly helped spread the name Baghdad Bob for the lies-through his teeth press flak (why didn't the media report that Joe Lockhart did exactly the same thing?), the term FReeping has made the press, and there was another good one that has slipped my mind.

What is it with the left???? They have never met a Dictator they didnt fall in love with and shed tears for.
I love how the limosine liberals and bratty college anti-war freaks all whine about how "unfair" and "horrible" the USA is but sure dont mind the benefits of living here.....

"This has to be the worst day in history .... I would rather put up with ten Saddams than have that loser chimp boy and his ilk in charge." While reading these posts from DU, I'm laughing so hard that ilk is coming out of my nose. :^)

Yeah, they seem really concerned with the welfare of the Iraqi people. What's bad is that they would really rather see that happen in the US

It is satire ... I mocked it up ...
Actually, it is much less hateful than most of their posts ...

LOL -- the "human shields go home" banner got posted to that thread, and a couple of DUmmies attacked it as a fake (because, after all, the natives of Iraq have never been exposed to American popular culture before and therefore must have been told what to write by the running dog imperialist scum invaders.
