Distributing food and medicine is all the UN should be allowed to do. Absolutely nothing else. The cancer of Saddam's regime was not only permitted to grow by the UN, it was actively fed by them. And when George W. Bush decided to excise it, the UN did everything within its limited power to stop him. Now that Iraq is being cured of the cancer, letting the UN get its evil hands on it would be like re-exposing the country to the carcinogen.

Even so, the weasels (Chirac, Schroeder, Putin, and Annan) are meeting behind closed doors this weekend to concoct some nefarious plot. Is there no end to their treachery and corruption? God curse them all utterly. Chirac demands that the US withdraw from Iraq after the war. Does he have anything besides an arrogant mouth to back up his demands? Will he send his army to chase coalition forces out of Iraq? This would be a good opportunity for you to shut up, Jacques. Actually, that opportunity was quite a while ago, and still you shoot off your mouth. Soon, we'll have no choice but to shut you up, one way or another. Are you sure you wanna risk that?

The Axis of Weasels chose to back the losing side in this war. Therefore, they should be treated as the losers they are. They have no right to muscle their way into the winners circle, because they lost right alongside Saddam. They should consider themselves lucky that while Saddam has lost his power, they still retain their own. Let them sit on the sidelines and seethe in their irrelevancy while the US, UK and coalition partners make sure the peace is as successful as the war.
