The were looking for 14 bodies, 7 of them believed to be children. If they have found the 14 bodies they were expecting to find, why wouldn't there be bodies of the regime also?

It ain't the Brit intel or MI6.
I just said that it was the London Times sourcing MI6, so how can you say it was the Guardian?

CIA says "he's dead, Jim." The Brits say he's in a bunker in Tikrit.
These people are so tiresome. Why can't Osama, Saddam, Bashir Assad, Mullah Omar, and the corpse of the Ayatollah Khomeini all show up in the same bunker at the same time, so we can get 'em all with one shot?
It would be the decent thing to do.

Saddam should go on Larry King if he is alive Saddam, how have military operations in your country hampered your sincere efforts to provide humanitarian aide to children starving or imprisoned in your country? Is it true that Muslim nations have become fearful of the US and that Bush is hated throughout the middle east?

This totally my opinion ... but I believe that Saddam is still alive. It was just to easy to "get him". All that he did to get to the restuarant is contrary to his usual MO.
And Quite frankly ... he may be brutal but he ain't that stupid ...
If anything we got one of his doubles. He probably set the whole thing up to take the heat off of him while he escaped to Syria ... just my humble opinion.

Those "pesticides" are causing a heck of a lot more damage to our soldier's skins than any pesticide I've ever heard of. Sorry - but nice try.No kidding - I think the pests these were brewed for were men and women and children. I think most pesticides could be human killers at the right dosage.

Do you all really think this was a ruse to "test" our intercept ability, or to provide cover for him to get out of Iraq? Don't you think our military and intelligence sources would have thought of this also. I seriously doubt we stopped looking for Saddam after the bombing either Monday or March 19th. (Maybe Saddam watched Swordfish in addition to Black Hawk Down!) Considering the state of affairs in Baghdad, I doubt the Iraq's are really that concerned about testing our intelligence capabilities. They are basically trying to survive.
I have a high level military friend, who does stuff that cannot be told. He said always doubt what you first see, because it may be a deception on our part. Who knows... maybe we set this whole thing up. Bomb a place and pretend Saddam is dead. Maybe he'll think he is "safer", and then come out in open. I don't know anymore.
I've thought Bin Laden is dead for over a year, and was pretty confident we got Saddam. However, we just don't know at this point.
