"What, no Imaginary Friend alert?"
"?"
I also do not understand kill-9's post. Will we get a response? BTW, thanks for the post. I would understand the blessing that Chaplain Eddie Cook is to the troops he is with there in Iraq. God bless Eddie and all the soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen there!

Great post - wonderful photo

GOD, who dost ever hallow and protect thy Church; Raise up therein, through thy Spirit, good and faithful stewards of the mysteries of Christ, that by their ministry and example thy people may abide in thy favour and be guided in the way of truth; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the same Spirit ever, one God, world without end. Amen.
O Lord God of Hosts, stretch forth, we pray thee, thine almighty arm to strengthen and protect the soldiers of our country. Support them in the day of battle, and in the time of peace keep them safe from all evil; endue them with courage and loyalty; and grant that in all things they may serve without reproach; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Great Article, Dubya.
A question was once asked, "What is the greatest Spiritual Gift?"
A very wise man answered, "Whatever gift God can use at any particular moment."

I suspect it was one of the typical posts of those who profess not to believe while at the same time devoting an incredible amount of time belaboring that stance. It's somewhat akin to someone who is blind from birth passionately debating the color red with a sighted person. The irony would be delicious if it weren't so eternally sad.
On a happier note, I'm getting reports back through military channels that thousands of soldiers are being baptised. Sandbag and poncho baptismals dug into the sand are in high demand.

Good old Bill Mauldin, the green fields of Heaven are his.
My dad was there too, and he says everything Bill drew is the truth!

That would be Joe. Joe has the kinda turned-up button nose, and Willie has the aquiline one.
