Mr. Smith is a political science professor at College of the Mainland and an avowed Marxist.

These people are dangerous to our way of life and the Constitution.

When I was 18 I was in San Francisco for a few months. While I was there, the Soviets went into Poland. Someone announced a candlelight vigil for them downtown. So I went.

It was wierd, the way the people running it were acting. Anyway, when the crowd of candleholders peaked at around 40-ish, they had us sort of march around in a circle. There were some media there, and they were taking pictures. Getting right up in my face with bright flashes, like old-fashioned cameras.

Well, we were marching around in our little circle, and they started us chanting, switching up the chant every few minutes. On about the third chant or so, the pulled a major switcheroo!

They went from something like "Russians go home!" to "Soviets out of Poland! U.S. out of El Salvador!" and I was like "Wha?!?!" So, I shouted something like "lets take it one issue at a time, fellas!" and sat on a little wall nearby, waiting for them to drop that one. They kept it up, and got even more anti-US, and some spokesperson was giving an interview to make it seem like we were a group that was all about that. We had ALL come down for a candlelight vigil for the Poles. Only the 4-5 organizers had the other agenda.

I put out my candle, disgusted. I felt very manipulated, but it was a good lesson, in that I have never been impressed by any media reportage of protests and marches since then, even before I began to become politically "aware."

Commie Dave was on FNC's Hannity and Colmes way back last year when he was tenured by those jerks in Texas City. Judge Ray Holbrook former Dem. County Judge who is more conservative then most on FreeRepublic, wrote the most eloquent but to the point op-ed in the Galveston Daily News I ever read over them keeping Commie Dave .

That professor taught my son several years ago at COM. His anti capitalism teachings were making a huge impact on my son and on one long drive home I slammed on the brakes of my car in a bad part of Galveston on a lonely stretch of road and told my son to get out of my car that capitalism built and walk home. It was one long semester and we never talk about that teacher in this house. Capitalism can giveth and taketh away!

Thanks for this update. I have run into this communist clymer before. I hope somebody is keeping a steady on subversives like this. I'll donate, just tell me where to send it. We need an army of people just to keep an eye on our homegrown communists.

Hard left, progressives, socialists, all trojan horse names for what everyone is afraid to call them, Communists.

It is very telling that they use code names and hide behind "feel good" issues to promote their real agendas. They know the truth would make people run from them as fast as they can.
