Take a look at the video of the crater site with the two walrus looking guys, the ones crying and embracing each other. Hold an image of those two guys.
Then, the next time they show the Friday (meet and greet) video with Saddam high fiving people, at a site which is only two blocks from the site of today's crater.
The same two muscle guys are working the crowd (pushing and shoving folks).
Those two guys are out of a job...

Is one of them the guy with a .45 on his hip who stands up on a barrell at the same time saddam is standing on another one?

Gotta' repeat the comment I made on other thread before I FINALLY get some s-l-e-e-p. Dozed my way through the breaking news on the bombs....but upon waking up and hearing it, I had to get up, log on and just say (and someone has most likely already said it), this is a crystal clear message to all with ears to hear and eyes to see. Didn't even put a 9/11 connection high on the list in this action, but feel compelled to say: FOUR bombs, folks.....one for each plane.
If he wasn't gone, he is.... the shock and awe may be in the form of details soon to surface. By the way, anyone know what time this action commenced? Also, prayers, praise and fondest regards to one and all from the Commander-in-chief to each person serving with such courage and valor. May God continue to protect and bless you and May God Bless America!

Also take a look at the Saddam video when he stands on a car above the crowd. He looks like he's reliving an earlier popularity. And there is one fascinating moment. for about three or four seconds his eyes look up to the sky and he speaks some words. I wonder what he was saying, and thinking.

I wonder how the photographer got him to look at the camera.

"All by myself, and I don't want to be all by myself... All by myself...." Eric Carmen? That you??
Either that,or the shade of Sergei Rachmaninov in a foul mood.

>>political science with a concentration in dramatic arts >No offense meant, but "political science + dramatic arts"? Oy!
Hollywood's often tried to mix
Show business with politics,
From Helen Gahagan
To...Ronald Reagan?
But Mister Murphy is the star
Who's done the best by far.
Oh gee, it's great,
At last we've got a Senator who can
Really sing and dance!
We can't expect America
To win against its foes
With no one in the Senate who
Can really tap his toes.
The movies that you've seen
On your television screen
Show his legislative talents at a glance.
Should Americans pick crops? George says "No,
'Cause no one but a Mexican would stoop so low."
And after all, even in Egypt, the pharaohs
Had to import
Hebrew braceros.
Think of all the musicals we have in store.
Imagine: Broadway Melody of 1984.
Yes, now that he's a Senator, he's really got the chance
To give the public
A song and dance!

Maybe Satan is doing us the favor right now. I am only imaging it. I wouldn't like to see it in person. There are doubtless many journalists embedded there, but they may have trouble establishing a link.

Lehrer was/is? just one more leftist, cool-aide drinking fool. Now he is a resident at UC Santa Cruz. Thus he is still a fool. And you point is?

tay !forgive me - it's early ...

I am sure the left will spin it that way.
However, the Iraqi regime was always very fast to jump on any civilian casualties and use them for propaganda purposes. The fact that this bombing was not paraded before the media for hours (until our media broke the story, and not claiming civilians killed) tells me that for some reason, the Iraqi regime was not in a position to be able to jump on this for propaganda purposes.
I can think of a very plausible explanation for that...

If your timeline is correct, then it strikes me as highly likely we got the SOB.
If Iraq's leadership existed in any way, shape, or form, then they would have jumped on this bombing within an hour or two for propaganda purposes, saying we targetted civilians.
15 hours and they didn't suggests they couldn't.
