Shocking that a reporter from the Observer was this honest; but we have had these images on our television screens in Britain for much of the day.

I hope the peaceniks now have the good grace to shut the hell up.

Regards, Ivan

Saddam's henchmen were almost Germanic in their penchant for documentation. There were records found with the bodies. We will know how, when, and why they died. We will find out a lot about Hussein, but the Arab world will pronounce our discoveries to be planted lies, and the looney left will believe them.

I hope someone, someday soon, will take Robert Fisk out to this place. Let him read the files and look at the pictures and the bones. Maybe he'll have a bit of a think, but not too long before he starts back up bitching about the West.

We will also know who and where, but that's beating a dead horse.

I read these things, see the pictures, I can only shake my head. I naively don't understand how this stuff can be happening in my lifetime. This is stuff that you only 'read about' that happened long ago, before I was born, or in books of fiction.

It sure pokes holes in the "religion of peace" line.
And they call us "infidels". At least we do not participate in human sacrifice...(at least not at the adult level).

Perhaps, this is the train station to Allah-Land: you pays you ticket and takes your bullet...though maybe Allah is more likely to accept you if you've been tortured first....

What is really freightening is that their work was interrupted. Where were they getting these bones? Just how many mass graves are scattered about in Iraq? This is just the first such findings, wait until they go to the prisons.

Maybe,....These are 200 'victims' (used instead of mice/rabbits, etc.) in countrywide training in WMD programs (failures)?

How will this "play on the Arab Street"?

Oh, you mean Al Jazeera is not showing this footage? How biased of them!

As horrible as it is, these treacherous heathens left a chronicle of their evil deeds. We have proof for the whole world to see. You are right Ivan, the peaceniks now have no excuse to keep up their obnoxious campaign, but of course we all know that they will....These barbarians will have their comeuppance very soon....

How grisly. Makes you wonder how many more of these will be found.

Don't even get your hopes up about making leftists see the light. Remember Chomsky, who swore up and down that the killing fields of Cambodia were a CIA-fabricated lie. When he could no longer maintain that belief, he simply switched to believing that the American presence created the situation, the murders were because of us. If we'd stayed away from their argrarian paradise and not interfered in the workers' utopia, they'd have never "had" to kill all those peasants.

I know other leftie profs who have the same mindset. Anything that the Ba'ath regime did after Gulf War 1 will be blamed on the sanctions, you wait and see. Indeed, I have sat in on university lectures wherein professor emeritus types have said that we should have let the Socialist Ba'ath party have Kuwait and Saudi Arabia too. That we had no right to interfere, that we "prop up" monarchies and interfere with socialist paradises in the making.

And why do we do it? Why, don't you know? It's all about oil. I don't even bother talking with these people anymore. They are truly nuts and obsessed with Marxism.

Al Jazeera is quoting a Ba'athist thug's explanation that these are the remains of soldiers from the 1980-1988 war between Iraq and Iran. Took an awful long time for the Iraqis to return the remains to the kin, don't ya think?

Of course, Al Jazeera will present it as the truth...even if in the future, the evil nature of these bones is proven to be otherwise. You won't hear a follow-up story on Al Jazeera. Not if the story doesn't put Saddam "the Lion" and his "victorious" regime in a good light to the rest of the ignorant Arab world.
