The whole article is just a tear-jerker. Those soldiers digging the graves....I sit here with two torn ligaments in my knee and feel guilty about whinning about it now. Can you imaging the pain of that woman. A special place in hell awaits those monsters.

I don't see how anybody could read or hear this account and not lose it then. When I listened to the briefing this morning I lost it there, lost it when I thought about it an hour later in the car, lost it again three times when reading those words in this thread.

Never, ever, in my life have six words carried such impact.

Never in my life will hearing these words, or analogous words, be the same. Somehow, I think I'll be hearing them when I'm singing "God Bless America" and "The Stars Spangled Banner", too, and I expect to again lose it.
