A caller to G. Gordon Liddy show today, said he was an employee of Bose (on his lunch break), and said BOSE corporate has ordered all flags, and flag related decorations taken down from all stores so as not to offend customers!!! Caller said one employee refused and quit.
Has anyone else heard about this???

I heard Bose pulled advertisements from the Rush Limbaugh show due to boycott threats from the liberal losers.

You don't get worker's comp if you quit.

Can anyone guess where Bose is headquartered...People's Republic of Massachusetts.
To: VOA
Nope. Your cousin is correct.
Everything Bose makes is pure junk other than the Wave Radio.
It is the UNIVERSAL opinion of audiophiles (except for a handful of trolls) that Bose is junk.
They are the perpetrators of a brilliant marketing campaign and their market is people who don't know any better.
And it's not audio snobs who think that anything less than $5,000 speakers are junk; the point is there are speakers CHEAPER than Bose speakers from a variety of quality manufacturers like B & W, Paradigm, etc. that are CLEARLY superior to Bose.

Now my paranoid mind is wondering if the G-Man runs opposite Paul Harvey. What a great psyops gambit..LOL!

Called the 800 number, got right through, and the man insisted he knew nothing about it.
Time to let them know we aren't about to stand for such anti american sentiment.

After paying for a premium Bose stereo and hearing how crappy it sounds in my new car, I'll never buy anything Bose.

Paul Harvey? Heck, CALL RUSH!!!! He promotes these guys almost every day. Time to end that relationship.
To: 11th_VA
Somebody better tell Rush. I guess they want the 20% of the market.

Your cousin is correct, Bose is better at MARKETING than engineering. I am not saying all their stuff is crap, but most of it is vastly overpriced. Those tiny speakers they make? The drivers they use can be purchased for a few bucks. "Direct Reflecting", "Acoustic Waveguide", blah blah, its nothing new.
Now, compared to your average consumer electronics, Bose IS probably better, but not by the price. For the same price, you can get something that sounds alot better.

Blaupunkt has it all over Bose except in price. And I'm not so sure about that.

Maybe BOSE wants to buy up all the unsold tickets to the Dixie Chicks concerts and make them available to its customers? How many of their remaining customers would want those tickets instead of an American flags? Stupid move.

I ordered a pair of Bose 901s in 1968 while still in Vietnam. Had to wait six months to pick them up, but my serial number is about 450. they're still my favorite speakers. They had cloth surrounds, so they never had to be repaired.

No highs, no lows..... you know the rest....
My worst moments are always when my well meaning church clients ask me for a Bose audio system for their church.
