(moan) Another reason to lose an hour of sleep . . . .

"Spring back, Fall forward" and you will have two hours that you will have to make up.
Spend Saturday night drinking at friend's house and change his clocks. Remind him later to advance his clocks one hour.

You left out Baghdad, where we are just cleaning their clocks for 'em.

Thanks for the reminder. monday morning day shift would have been atrocious. I wonder if it will be darker or lighter at 6:15 AM. It has gotten lighter and lighter the more away from winter.
To: PetroniDE
WOHOOO I get to work one less hour and still get paid for a full shift. :)

Duly noted, sir.
Now I get to do yard work when I get home from work! Hooray! ("seriesly")

Stupidest dang thing I ever heard of. "It's for the farmers?" I don't think so - cows don't wear wristwatches.
This is going to cut into either my sleeping or my FReeping. Looks like yawn city coming down the line...

Arizona does not fiddle with this, I am glad to say. We are on Arizona time.

Thanks. Perhaps I should do it now. Last year I went all through Sunday not needing to know what time it was. I was late for work on Monday.

In Arizona we don't have to fook with this, but it's a good time for this fire inspector to remind you all that DST is a good time to change the batteries in your smoke detectors.

No one saves daylight time-- end the lie!!

That extra hour of sunlight's going to burn up my crops.

Time for a bump.

It's not nevermind for those of us living in states smart enough to realize daylight savings is dumb, we still have to change many of our VCR programs (anything unibroadcast on cable moves an hour). I sure wish our smarts were infectious. Moving the clock around twice a year is many kind of stupid.

Indiana is so far ahead of everyone else in this area. We have about 5 counties that are on eatern-standard daylight savings time, about 80 counties that are on eastern-standard time (never change their clocks for daylight savings), and we have about a dozen counties that are on central daylight savings time.
